Upbringing of an only child

The thesis deals with the issue of singletons. Its main question is directed to the childhood of singletons and its importance for the whole life of a human. It wonders whether the childhood of singletons affects humans in adulthood, or in which areas and which way. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and part of the research. In the first part basic terms are defined which constitute the basis for the second part of the work. The research part of the work is more extensive and forms the core of the thesis. It is a qualitative research. Biographical design, specifically the realistic biography, has been used as the most appropriate research plan. First, three interviews were made and processed - depth probes of the respondents who grew up as the singletons. The analysis of the probes divided the interview into three stages: childhood upbringing, the upbringing of their own children and self-education. After processing the individual parts of the research, the final synthesis revealed that the childhood of the respondents and the fact of being an only child had a significant impact on their overall life. Stanislava Fidlerová Abstract The topic of a crisis seems to be very actual these days. The crisis hits all fields of human activity and a human himself. We cannot avoid a crisis. Everyone in their life goes through more or less serious crisis. Looking at their meaning and causes can bring us explanation and help. I suppose that a crisis is one of the important moments which decides our future direction. If we understand the crisis and its motives and we start to work with them, we have a chance to use our potential which the crisis gives us. Or there is a second option, we are blind to the causes and challenges of the crisis. This often leads to stagnation or somatization of the problem. It seems that a man continues to live his life almost unaffected, but he actually has a certain debt. The debt refers to him. It is the debt which the man owes himself because he does not live his life the way he could. It can cause stagnation or even destruction of a personality.
