Position Control With Camera
Ficek, Dominik ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
Thesis focuses on camera’s pose estimation in set world coordinate system. This coordinate system is defined by position of predefined marks. Cursor control is selected as a pose estimation feedback. Aim of this thesis is designing real time cursor control with camera methods. In theoretical part of this thesis is dedicated to explanation of basic theory of image processing, artificial intelligence in computer vision and 3D reconstruction. Following theoretical chapter is a chapter dedicated to the design of two position control with camera methods. First method defines fixed coordinate system and cursor is controlled by camera’s movement. Second method utilizes fixed camera and movable coordinate system. Further chapters are dedicated to realization of designed methods, their evaluation and comparison.
Interpretation of Sign Language
Ficek, Dominik ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This work deals with image processing methods in persuit of sign language recognition and automatic interpretation in target sign language by artificial avatar. Following the theorethical introduction to the topic is a brief survey of current state of the art in sign language recognition. Proposed pipeline for the purposes of sign language recognition is based on the survey and latest state of the art hand and face landmark estimation methods. The designed pipeline is implemented and evaluated on suited metrics. As an application of this pipeline a system recognizing american sign langauge with automatic interpretation in czech sign language is built.
Pose estimation and tracking for sign language recognition
Ficek, Dominik ; Richter, Miloslav
In this work we combine several state-of-the-art algorithms into a single pose tracking pipeline. We recognize motion, relative position and pose of human hands and face as the main information carriers as we separate the problem into three main tasks: hand and face detection, hand and face pose estimation and tracking hands and face in dynamic environment. We also propose to use measurements from pose estimation steps as a visual information indicator to solve dynamic tracking assignment problem.
