Kateřina Macáková, Ph.D. Title of Thesis: Interaction of chalcones with transition metals I. Iron is a biogenic metal element with unpaired d-electrons that plays a key role in the survival of unicellular organisms, plants and mammals. The electron shell of the iron atom is able to easily bind and release electrons and thus contribute to the proper function of the organism. Iron is necessary to ensure the transport of respiratory gases, cell differentiation and the functioning of some specific enzymes. However, despite the clearly positive effect of iron on human health, inappropriately low or high level of iron in the body can cause the development many diseases. Chalcones are plant polyphenols belonging to the family of flavonoids, secondary metabolites of plants. The term chalcone generally refers to a chemical structure with an ,-unsaturated ketone system based on 1,3-diphenylprop-2-en-1-on. These substances have a wide spectrum of biological activities and in the right amount can be good for human health. Family and ways of prevention of socially deviant behavior among youth

The thesis is divided into two parts. Theoretical part consists of four chapters, empirical investigation, the practical part.Chapter one focuses on the notion of family and its importance. Except for clarification of the concept are described the basic characteristics of the family now, basic functions of the family and educational styles. Conclusion of the firts chapter looks at the family as a potential risk factor of development and socio-pathological behavior in children and adolescents. The second chapter explains the basic concepts of social deviance and social pathology and describes the main causes of social pathologies. The third chapter describes the various social pathologies, which pose the greatest risk for the age group of children and adolescents. There are described in more detail: dependence on psychoactive substances, aggression and violence, vandalism, bullying, cyber crime and delinquency and pathological gambling. The fourth chapter is devoted to prevention, especially for a preventive action in the family. Practical part is an empirical investigation, in which the case study of ten children and adolescents who have committed some form of pathological behavior.

Karel Dewetetr - An Example of an Author of Regional Literature

Spisovatel Karel Dewetter je jedním ze opomíjených autorů české literatury. Narodil se v roce 1882 v Dobřejovicích u Prahy a zemřel v roce 1962 v Praze. Civilním povoláním byl ministerským úředníkem, ale přes 40 let svého života věnoval literatuře regionálního charakteru. V ní upozornil na nevelké jihočeské město Týn nad Vltavou, které se v jeho díle objevuje pod jménem Vltavín. Najdeme jej jak v Dewetterových verších, tak na stránkách jeho prozaických děl pro dospělé i pro děti. Knihy pro děti, jako například trilogie Neuvěřitelná dobrodružství Davida Damiána, patří podle některých názorů k nej lepším dílům určeným dobovému dětskému čtenáři a zároveň k jeho dílům nejhodnotnějším. V básnické Dewetterově tvorbě najdeme sbírky lyrické, zastoupené například sbírkou Zpěvy duše, epické sbírky Balady či Věnec bájí a pověstí i soubory lyrickoepické, reprezentované skladbou Jihočeská elegie, doprovázenou souborem básní Vzpomínky. Z prozaických děl je třeba zmínit rozsáhlejší romány Mrtví žijí či Román Richarda Loma. Téměř v každém Dewetterově díle se setkáváme se zmíněným městem Vltavín, kde autor prožil své dětství, a tudíž se k němu ve vzpomínkách vrací. Stále se takřka pravidelně setkáváme se zelenou bání kostela, vltavínskými zvony, domkem u arcibiskupského zámku a mnoha dalšími motivy, které jsou pro...

The effects of suburbanization processes on municipality - the case study of the city Klecany

This diploma thesis deals with the influence that suburbanization processes have on a historic city. Namely it is the city Klecany that the thesis focuses on in the Prague -- East region. Suburbanization can be observed in the Czech Republic since the second half of the 1990's, but its specific influence depends on a particular municipality. Therefore the goal of this thesis is to compare theoretical assumptions about suburbanization with its real consequences in Klecany, especially in the sphere of transport, economy, municipal budget, development, population structure, social and political environment etc. One part of the thesis focuses on measuring suburbanization in Klecany using the so-called classic formula and also an opinion survey was made among the former and the new inhabitants.

Baccalaureate work topic - phenomenom social problems of children and young people and further yoga {--} part of preventative incidence in those areas. The theme is divided in two theoretic parts. First is bent on common characteristic, kids and teen-agers sociable pathological effects, family and school signification and on prevention. Second part is devoted to yoga and her usage.Practical part forms quantitative research intent on findings to the what measurement yogism influences children´s behaviour and act.

Role of culture in development of czech countryside

This bachelor thesis deals with the role of culture (cultural activities, monuments, cultural traditions, customs etc.) in development of czech countryside. Perception and state of culture in czech countryside is illustrated on chosen villages in Karlovarský region. On these villages is described the importance that czech communities give to culture, how much financial resources is given to this area and also how communities perceive the role of culture in strengthening coherence of rural communities. Thesis also describes the main actual problems of rural communities and indicates some possibilities, how culture could help to develop them.
