Dzianová, Hana ; Zemánek, Václav (referee) ; Zemánková, Helena (advisor)
The area is located in the southern part of the castle complex in Zdar, land in an urban zone. The original function of the castle in Zdar was a Cistercian monastery, founded 02.05.1252, which is credited with the expansion of the region. The castle is close to important UNESCO World Heritage Site - Pilgrimage church of the John of Nepomuk on the Green hill, which is a prerequisite for tourism in the region. The architectural design is based on the idea of recovery of unused buildings for the benefit of tourism on the one hand and on the other hand, it seeks to enrich local communities and the region. Suggest a feature builds on the newly created Museum of the new generation, which represents the potential of tourism. The draft proposal seeks to complete the missing and necessary functions in the area while trying to build on the tradition and the original object function.

My intention was to respond to the challenges of the site , to discover what this place is missing and how could the situation dealt with in the range of my building . First of all , I responded to the missing areas of public space in this area of which I would like to contribute to this site within my project . This idea is closely related to the Neighborhood Theatre Joy , which also deserves public predpriestor . Since this location is close to downtown, is lucrative for large areas of housing . Therefore, a facility dedicated to ca . 89 % of the total floor area housing . My intention was used the plot as efficiently as possible , which is reflected in the volume of construction , which complements empty corner parcel adjacent side walls of the police station and yet another volume in the northern part of the area separates the private garden from the public space . Public space is devoted incurred atrium , which I did not want to leave enclosed in the inner block . Therefore, the mass structure in the location hips lifted above the ground and disappears on two floors , thus establishing a clear and large entrance to the courtyard , which takes on the character of the public square.
