Title: Relationship between physical activity and quality of life in young adults Aims of work: This thesis aims to determine the connection between physical activity and quality of life in young adults (20-35 years old), and to find out their lifestyle, health, and quality of life. Method: Methodologically, this work is based on a quantitative questionnaire study. The data were obtained through an online questionnaire, which was posted on Facebook. The questionnaire included two measures of physical activity (International Physical Activity Questionnaire a Leisure Time Exercise Questionnaire) and a measure of the quality of life (WHOQOL-BREF).The data from the questionnaire were evaluated by SPSS software (Statistical Package for Social Science). The relationship between physical activity and quality of life was determined using correlation and regression analysis. The survey involved 379 young adults in the age category of 20 to 35 years. Results: The results of the correlation analysis showed a significant relationship between leisure time physical activity and three dimensions of the quality of life - mental and physical health and the quality of the environment. The relationship of physical activity and cognitive function in older adults

Title: The relationship between physical activity and cognitive function in older adults Objectives:. The dissertation deals with issues related to the relationship between physical activity and cognitive function in older adults. The main aim of the thesis was exploring possible links between the movement regime of seniors and cognitive function, specifically to find out what links exist between the cognitive function of seniors and systematic physical activity as a part of their lifestyle. The secondary aim of this study was to investigate what factors of lifestyle and quality of life are related to the ability of seniors to solve complex cognitive tasks. Method: The research was based on two quantitative methods - the Vienna test system battery which measured the level of cognitive function and the battery of questionnaires which measured the various variables related to lifestyle and quality of life. The obtained data were analyzed by using SPSS 21.0 statistical software (Hayes, 2017). The research sample was consisted of 204 seniors from the Czech Republic aged between 60 - 89 years, without serious health problems. The research sample was represented by both regular sporting seniors at the level of recreational sport and seniors in whose movement regime there is no regular sports activity....
