Dlabola, Adam ; Samek, Tomáš (advisor) ; Lehečka, Michal (referee)
1 Abstract The thesis is based on a qualitative research using methods of participatory observations and semi- structured interviews. It deals with a pioneer project of urban gardening Allmende Kontor in Berlin. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the position of Allmende Kontor within the planning processes of the former airport Berlin - Tempelhof. The goal of the thesis is to analyze who plans and how the Tempelhofer Feld and which position does the urban gardening project have within the planning process. In order to achieve such a goal, this paper is focused primarily on the development of plans of three main actors: Senate of the city of Berlin, the initiative 100% Tempelhofer Feld and Allmende Kontor. City planning is viewed as a political process and interpreted on a basis of a cultural performance theory and sociology of knowledge. Neither the analysis and interpretation of the plans nor structuring of the thesis can be understood as value-neutral. My position was changing during the field research. I started to follow one of the positions of the city planning and this perspective determined my further point of view.
