The Cultural and Science Policy of the Communist Party and the Ideologization of Social Science in Czechoslovakia 1945-1960. Abstract This study deals with the cultural and science policy of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia in 1945-1960 from the perspective of meeting the policy's main aim, i.e. a general acceptance of the communist ideology of Marxism-Leninism. The period started with formulating a programme of social and political transformation from the "national and democratic revolution" to a "socialist revolution", followed up by the proclamation of "accomplishing the socialist construction". Having reached a power monopoly, the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia concentrated on a cultural revolution conceived as "a conversion of culture and people's thinking toward the Marxist-Leninist world-view". The communist cultural and science policy is therefore analysed in the context of the Marxist discourse and through the forms of reshaping the social science predestined to spread the Marxist philosophy. More specifically, my research focused on the development of university and college education policy as a part of the communist cultural and science project. Memorial sites. Topography of the present memory of the nation and its reflections

The methodology deals with a methodological capture of the phenomenon of memorial sites as basic elements of memory studies. It shows how rules (criteria applying to inclusion) are determined, as well as the importance of naming exceptions (assessment from the viewpoint of the whole complex of memorial places, correlation of memorial places). The methodology also elaborates the description and documentation of memorial places and presents techniques that can be employed to process collected data, which are a necessary prerequisite for a professional analysis and interpretation.

Aplikace benchmarkingu ve společnosti České dráhy, a. s.

Cílem diplomové práce je zmapovat možnosti využití benchmarkingu a jeho přínos pro firmu, aplikovat metodu benchmarkingu a navrhnout zlepšující doporučení. Teoretická část diplomové práce zobrazuje benchmarking jako nástroj podpory strategického managementu, jeho přínos, postup a varianty využití. V praktické části je představen předmět benchmarkingu, skupina České dráhy, a.s. a jejich finanční situace. Finanční benchmarking porovnává České dráhy, a.s. s odvětvím služeb v ČR a s významnými železničními společnostmi v zahraničí. Poslední analýza je zaměřena benchmarking s autobusovou dopravou z pohledu zákazníka.
