Autonomous programmer of AVR microprocessors with Ethernet connectivity
Verner, Lukáš ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Kravka, Martin (advisor)
he main purpose of this semestral thesis is to get to know programming of Atmel AVR microcontroller, working with SD/MMC cards, working with ethernet (TCP/IP) to create a standalone programmer of AVR microcontroller with ethernet connectivity. The first part deals with the questions of programming theory of memories inside microcontrollers and description of programming algorithm. The most used programming method is called „In System Programming“ - ISP. This method provides easy and fast manipulaton. Concept of this programmer is designed for this ISP method. In this thesis is too explain how to work SD/MMC card and file systém FAT16. This knowledges are necesary to store binary program inside standalone programmer. In final part and in attachments there is hardware design, electrical scheme, bill of materials, printed circuit board.
Software for Communication with GPS Receiver
Vrba, Pavol ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
The main goal of this master’s thesis is to over study, reconsider and make a program, which will be capable to interpose information from GPS module, different markers and necessary information’s, geographic coordinates obtained from GPS will be projected in its interface and also on map. This project contains of 3 parts. The first one exactly describes GPS, its history, structure, principle, competitive types of navigations systems and also GPS’ services and technical parameters. The second part of this project describes GPS hardware, used receiver of this signal. There is also mentioned its technical parameters and communication with outside world. The third part is in scripted the software for communication with GPS receiver. We can also see the description of code, in which is mentioned communication protocol and imaging the position on the map. It was programmed in C# language on platform Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition.
Measuring Quality of Telephone Calls with the Asterisk PBX
Bílek, Petr ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Daněček, Vít (advisor)
This thesis contains description of the present methods and algoritms for measuring the quality of telephone call on the PBX Asterisk. Further develop the concept of a system for measuring and implementing the call embbeded system VOIPAC PXA270M. Based on theoretical analysis is carried out discussions between C, Java and PHP,which results in the selection of appropriate programming language suitable for implementation in embedded system. The concept is realized by creating an application written in a particular programming language. Part of this work is verification created application using experimental measurments of telecommunications system. The results of experimental measurements are discussed in the final evaluation.
Automatic battery charger for medical equipment
Talanda, Oldřich ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Chmelař, Milan (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is describe properties accumulators used in medical industry and proposal automatic baterry charger for medical equipment. The first part of the master’s thesis describes the most commonly used types of electrochemical accumulator systems used in the medical industry. Further listed are the criteria for the identification of the accumulator charge status. The second part of the master’s thesis defines demands on automatic baterry charger and proposal factual network solution.
Security provisions of VoIP traffic in Open source PBX
Chalás, Jaroslav ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
Main goal of creating the Open Source project and GPL licence are free sources and applications available for a wide public. Competent communities are responsible for support and upgrade of Open source based applications and softwares, which are created on a voluntary bases. Due to this fact an implementation depends on plenty others publicly available libraries and applications, which sometimes complicate the installation process itself. Successfully created VoIP connection is two-phase based process. Signalization is necessary in the first place, which might be supported with H.323 or SIP. After call parameter negotiation – voice codec, cipher code, ports etc, the second phase takes over to transfer voice. Theoretical part of this thesis describes SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP and IAX protocols, as well as secure ways of signalization and voice stream part of the call. These might be SIPS, SRTP, ZRTP and IPsec. In thesis Open Source Asterisk PBX is well described, when mentioning its options, features and community support. I put near options available for particular releases and introduce attacks and abuses which are possible to perform on the VoIP system in general, together with available, no cost and working tools to perform the attacks with. Practical part focuses on possibilities to generate experimental attacks on individual systen parts with exact definition of what the consequences are. Based on the overall analyse of achieved results I conclude three solutions as autoinstallation linux packages. These „deb“ packages consist of specific Asterisk release required to meet the security needs, ready-to-test configuration and guide to follow with correct options to set. Final security possibilities requires hardening on application layer, where Iptables takes its part. „Linux firewall“ as some express Iptables are configured to reflect VoIP system parameters and protect from DoS attacks.
Adjustable source supplied and controlled via USB
Pavlíček, Petr ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Master’s thesis deals with design and realization of power supply, which is supplied and controlled via USB bus. In theoretical part there are described principles of USB communication drivers which ensures this communication, there are described principles of linear voltage regulators and basic types of DC/DC converters. Mentioned is also PID regulator theory. Practical part aims for design of suitable DC/DC converter topology and creating algorithms for driving this converter. Next there is created PC program which drives power supply and there are also accomplished basic power supply measurements. The result of this thesis is functional power supply supplemented with PCB.
Selection of Airplane Data Bus for Distributed Fly-by-Wire System
Funderák, Marcel ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Číž, Radim (advisor)
This thesis is dealing with selection of proper airplane data bus for distributed Fly-by-Wire system. The parameters of such data bus are defined here and description of such data buses are given as well. The proper data bus which fulfils the given parameters is selected. Next the safety and time-delay analysis are provided.
Universal mobile communication platform using the bluetooth technology
Sopko, Richard ; Šilhavý, Pavel (referee) ; Daněček, Vít (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on field of communication technologies in mobile devices in personal WPAN type wireless networks. Work consists of three basic parts. First part provides overview of personal WPAN wireless networks and is specialized on Bluetooth technologies and its opportunities of communication between mobile devices. Second part deals with an opportunity of using programming language Java 2 Micro Edition in work with Bluetooth technology. Key point of this work is third part which includes scheme of conception of a communication platform and creating of application designed for mobile phones. Created application enables communication by means of changing files and written conversation of two or more people in real time by Bluetooth connection.

Uninterruptible power supply with management system utilizing I2C bus for medical devices
Daněček, Vít ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
Object my master’s thesis is the design a Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus. Norm EN 61000-3-2 define electric parameters for medical device power supply. In case of power supply for medial equipment is expressive accent on increased electric strength. This power supply have usually primary and secondary power circuit. Primary power circuit form line accumulator, which supplies needed output to the load and recharge reserve battery. Secondary is formed battery-pack, which serve as back-up power supply at drop-out prime circle. They have a minimum weight, small proportions, large overall effectivity also charging battery-pack and monitoring battery-pack charging condition. Result whole those master’s thesis is design Medical device uninterruptible power supply with managment system utilizing I2C bus and realization board layout. Resulting characteristics designed supply unit are: Output voltages are 5V/ 3 A , 12V/ 1,5 A and -12V/ 0,1 A. Managment support information about: Line adapter/ battery pack switch, battery-pack charging condition and actuall tempera-ture battery-pack.
