Complex identification of N-methylation reaction products in the synthesis of selected pharmaceuticals
Malíková, Sára ; Klusoň, Petr (advisor) ; Cuřínová, Petra (referee)
This thesis studied the process of the N-alkylation reaction of an ergoline derivative in a flow-through microreactor using phase transfer catalysis, which provides a faster exchange of substances at the phase interface and thus accelerates the reaction. Specifically, this reaction involved the N-methylation of LUME (10--methoxy-dihydrolysergic acid methyl ester) to the product MeLUME (1-methyl 10--methoxydihydrolysergic acid methyl ester). Dimethyl sulfate served as the alkylating agent and tetraethylammonium hydroxide as the phase transfer catalyst. Several side products are formed during this reaction. These are mainly LUME acid, which is formed by hydrolysis of the starting substance LUME, as well as the quaternary ammonium salt of the starting substance and the quaternary ammonium salt of the reaction product (MeLUME), which is formed by quaternization of the ergoline skeleton nitrogen due to used excess of the alkylating agent. The aim of this work was to develop an analytical method for the quantitative determination of the starting substance LUME and the products of the investigated N-alkylation reaction, including the most important side products. For this purpose, it was necessary to selectively prepare the above-mentioned side products and, on this basis, to determine their reaction...
New Residential Localities in Prague and the Structure of Their Inhabitants
Macešková, Dana ; Ouředníček, Martin (advisor) ; Cuřínová, Petra (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis of housing construction in Prague in the years 2000-2009, and evaluation of socio-demographic structure of the population in the selected new residential areas. First is with the use of the database of the completed dwellings in the respective period described the deployment of new housing stock according to the character of the building in various concentric zones of the city, and on this basis the most important areas of new residential construction are identified. In the main empirical part is through the analysis of migration data at five selected case sites studied the relationship between socio- demographic structure of population and the selected/preferred types of housing. The analysis of statistical data is further supplemented by the data collected through field investigation.
Dialytic Separation of Anions from DMSO Solution Facilitated by dendritic Receptors.
Cuřínová, Petra ; Winkler, Maximilian ; Krupková, Alena ; Budka, J. ; Wun, Ch.N. ; Blechta, Vratislav ; Červenková Šťastná, Lucie ; Sýkora, Jan ; Strašák, Tomáš
As the dialytic tubing is impermeable for big molecules of receptor, the anions crossing the barrier of dialytic tubing to form complex with the receptor stay entrapped inside and can be removed from the solution. NMR methods were used to study the complexation properties of given receptors as well as to determine the concentration changes during dialytic experiments.

New Membranes with Immobilizing Chiral Selector for Racemic Micture Separation.
Gaálová, Jana ; Cuřínová, Petra ; Stibor, Ivan ; Izák, Pavel
Enantiomers exhibit identical properties in the achiral environment, however, they often differ in effectiveness, pharmacological activity and pharmacokinetic profile since the modules with which they interact in biological systems are also optically active [1,2]. Racemic immobilizing chiral selector is present. Five types of membranes with different amount of chiral selector were used. During the pertraction experiments the membranes were subsequently placed between the feed and receiving phase of the pertraction cell. During pertraction experiments we find out, that kinetics of the pertraction significantly influence the enantiomer resolution what indicated that facilitated transport is employed; while enantioselective sorption activity of the membranes reached up to 100%.

Understanding the Principles of Diastereomeric Complexes of Chiral Urea Derivatives.
Cuřínová, Petra ; Jakubec, Martin ; Storch, Jan ; Holakovský, R.
The main target of this work based on the NMR studies is to elucidate the structural principles which are responsible for the action of the chiral selectors at hand, and thus to be able to predict the new promising structures useful as NMR shift reagents.
