Gruber, Vojtěch ; Malíř, Roman (advisor) ; Chrudimský, Jan (referee)
Title: The influence of parkour on the physical fitness of children of younger school age. Objectives: The aim of this work is to determine the effect of an intervention program with parkour exercises on a positive change in physical fitness of children of younger school age, evaluated by the test battery Unifittest (6-60). Methods: This is a quantitative quasi-experimental study that involved a total of 62 participants aged 7-11 years. The participants were divided into two groups. The experimental group (n=26) consisted of beginners in parkour who had not undergone regular intervention in the form of several weeks of training in the past. The control group (n=36) consisted of participants who either did no sport or did any sport other than parkour. The standardized test battery Unifittest (6-60) was used to objectively evaluate the effect of parkour on positive change in physical fitness. The influence of ontogenesis in the younger school age was checked using Brauer body development index (KEI method). Results: The intervention program positively influenced the physical fitness of children of younger school age. A statistically significant difference was observed in the Unifittest (6-60) results between the control and experimental group, as well as in the long jump in the pre-test and post-test...
A relationship between lateral symmetry of the shoulder joints during modified handstand execution and the Upper Quaretr Y Balance Test
Havelka, Ondřej ; Malíř, Roman (advisor) ; Chrudimský, Jan (referee)
Title: Relationship between lateral symmetry of the shoulder girdle in modified handstand position and Upper Quarter Y Balance Test Objectives: The aim of this study is to test the relationship between the lateral symmetry of the shoulder girdle in the modified handstand position and the score in the Upper Quarter Y Balance Test. Methods: This empirical research investigated the connection between the lateral symmetry of the shoulder girdle in a modified handstand position and the Upper Quarter Y Balance Test (UQYBT) score. Shoulder stability was assessed using the UQYBT score and categorized as shoulder with higher score (P, L, S). The quality of the handstand was evaluated by examining marker displacement relative to the baseline on the y-axis, resulting in higher marker position (P, L, S) and x-axis relative to the line segment, resulting in farther marker position (P, L, S). The relationship between these variables was analyzed using the Goodman- Kruskal λ association test, which measures the strength of association between two categorical variables (UQYBT and higher shoulder (P/L/S), and UQYBT and farther shoulder (P/L/S). The λ coefficient, ranging from 0 to 1, was used to interpret the relationship. Results: The results showed a minimal and statistically insignificant relationship between...

Title: Spine pains of gymnasts in selected gymnastic sports Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to describe selected causes of spine pain in connection with the type of gymnastic sport, training load and specific moments when gymnasts feel pain in individual segments of the spine. Methods: For the processing of the data, which was obtained through a questionnaire survey, we used selected methods of descriptive statistics, especially to determine the characteristics of the location and variability of the data. Subsequently, they were processed graphically and tables were created in the Excel. Results: According to the results, 98 % of female gymnasts have experienced back pain at least once in their life. One of the causes is the training load, which has a big influence on the current health condition. The frequency of back pain among gymnasts training twenty or more hours per week with a training unit longer than three hours is bigger than in gymnasts with lower values. Regarding the performance level, female respondents competing at the national level feel more pain than at the highest elite level. In terms of individual sports, artistic gymnastics has the highest number of female respondents who experience back pain or have suffered a spinal injury. The most problematic part of the spine is the...
