Laboratory railway model control

This work deals with possibilities of operating signals under the power supply voltage and using of this technology in guidance of a model of railway. Firstly there is an analysis of analogous and digital guidance of the model of railway. There is also a description of theory of three kinds of used modulations such as ASK, FSK and OFDM modulation. There are described only principles of those modulations because the problematic of the modulation is going to be solved by integrated circuit. The next part of this work is going to deal with a market research and with description integrated circuits, which ensure the modulation of operating signals of power supply voltage. There is also going to be noticed a description of others circuits that are needed for the correct function of the whole furnishing. Then I will continue with a project of scheme and single PCB for a guidance of the model of the railway. The last part of this work is concerned with activation and a proof of those proposed linkage.

Feasibility Study of Project

The Master’s Thesis deals with project management issues in the field of energetic, specifically diversification of fuel base with usage of renewable resources. The thesis is divided into two parts, from which the first part is focused on theoretical background of project, project management and feasibility study issues. In the second part particular feasibility study is elaborated. The goal of this thesis is to create feasibility study, which is one of the requested appendixes of grant application.

Weather measurement

The achievement of this thesis is to design functional equipment which is able to measure the basic meteorological variables as air temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. In order to measure relative humidity completed with temperature, an intelligent sensor manufactured by Intersema Inc., MS5534B, was chosen. Relative humidity is measured by a capacitance sensor Humirel HS1101LF. The measured data are stored in anon-volatile memory. Data can be downloaded to a computer file via serial port or they can be online displayed on the computer screen via the wireless Bluetooth connection. Because the equipment is supposed to be used for the external measurement without the connection to electricity, low power consumption was considered as a most important parameter as well as good weather protection.

Multiparametric segmentation of MR images

The aim of the thesis was familiarity of segmentation methods for automatic segmentation of MR images, using multiparametrical display. The theoretical part focuses on the description of methods of segmentation techniques. In the practical part are implemented K-means and level-set method. The methods are tested on the images of the brain obtained by different sequences (T1, T1c, T2, FLAIR). Segmentation methods are implemented in the program MATLAB. Implemented segmentation accuracy is demonstrated on data which there are reports reference results. Evaluation methods is performed using different classifiers decision. The K-means method is tested different metrics and different combinations of the input image. Finally, both methods are compared with one another and visually evaluated against the reference image.

MR imaging of somatic embryos

The aim of this bachelor thesis is measuring of tissue cultures of spruce MR imaging methods. Was measured set of samples, where was found contain of cluster in each cuts. To obtain the image, the magnetic resonance was used, specifically spin echo sequence. Method called spin echo is based on two pulses 90° and 180°. Selected method from the beginning of the work is than used to measure the diffusion and processing of cultures. In last part the work is devoted to data processing in Matlab and Marevisi.

Administrative building in Prague, solution of the technological stage of cladding

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the processing of the technological phase of cladding an administrative building in Prague. The lightweight external envelope consists of an aluminum modular facade and an entrance from a load-bearing steel column-grid facade. The thesis includes a technical report focusing on the cladding, the resolution of broader transportation relationships, technological regulations for the modular facade and column-grid facade, construction organization solutions, a quality control and testing plan. Furthermore, a proposal for the machinery assembly, a timeline, a detailed budget including a statement of quantities, occupational safety, and health protection, a construction site equipment design, coordination situations, and a modular facade installation procedure diagram are developed.

This letters he sent from prison, where he spend almost one year - from 6. 5. 1981 to 27. 5. 1981. In my bachelor's thesis, I tried to put Simecka's correspondence to the context of dissent in Czechoslovakia before 1989 and the revolution in the same year. Critical Discourse Analysis of the Discourse on the Bohemian Forest National Park

This thesis focuses on critical analysis of the discourse on the Bohemian Forest National Park (BFNP) between 1991 and 2010. This large-size protected area has over the long term been the subject of highly critical debate among various participants including top political representatives, particularly as a result of several cases of massive disturbances of mature forest stands. Hence this discussion offers some very suitable material for an analysis aiming to help expose the links between regional subjects and general politics - and to demonstrate the relations between language and power. The introductory two chapters presenting the subject and a clarification of the position from which my critical analysis is to be performed is followed by a section describing the basic procedures and concepts defining the theoretical and methodological framework of the critical discourse analysis (CDA). This third chapter deals with the mutual relations between the initial CDA qualitative approach and the quantitative corpus approach, particularly in view of the issues surrounding the replicability of critical research. Agency and Empowerment in Translation: The Influence of Josef Winiwarter and his 1866 English Translation of the Austrian Civil Code

In 1866, the Austrian Civil Code (Allgemeines bürgerliches Gesetzbuch - ABGB) was translated into English for the first time by the Viennese lawyer Josef Maximilian Winiwarter. This is a story about the agency and empowerment of this important legal translator and how his translation influenced other translators and texts. The first part of this dissertation explores Winiwarter's life and his motivations for translating the ABGB into English and introduces the premise that Winiwarter's text was pivotal in creating a standard of legal terminology and phrasing for future civil-law texts in English. With the help of case studies and context-oriented research, the second part maps out the agency of Winiwarter and the influence his landmark translation has had on other translators and legal practitioners. It showcases two additional English translations of the ABGB, one in the mid-twentieth century and the other in the early twenty-first century, in order to substantiate just how influential Winiwarter's translation was, even a century later.
