MATLAB/Simulink, Real-Time simulation and control

This bachelor thesis provides information about a possibility of implementing the real-time, a serial line RS-232 and communication with a programmable controller (PLC) by Bernecker &Rainer (B & R) in MATLAB / Simulink evironment. Further, it provides information about options of creating a block in MATLAB / Simulink, modes of operation of the simulink and implementation of blocks to the blockset. In the proper communication with PLC the principle of PVI is described, the terminology connected with PVI is explained and setting and maintaining the communication between a source station and PLC is specified.

Industrial PID controller with visualization and bumpless switching

This work informs reader about different program implementation of PID controller. Next it contains description of four basic events, which cause bump switching. For each of these four events is made analysis, why bump is caused and subsequently is made description, how to eliminate these bumps. The result is set of equations, which properly adjust regulators parameters. On big number of graphs there is proved, that after application of these equations, switching become bumpless. Another part of this dokument is a description, how to illustrative demonstrate bumpless switching in MATLAB's script, in B&R's virtual control system AR000 and on real system, whitch will be controled by B&R's control system type Power Panel.

Visualization for an Intelligent House and its Environment Control

The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of visualization and it mentions its purpose and usage as well as the demands placed on it. Other items of work are the creation of the model irrigation system, reviving its electronics and the development and function description of the implemented program. Irrigation is part of the model intelligent house. The entire irrigation system is controlled through the use of the PowerPanel PP400, which is visualized. The remote communication is made possible by the use of the WebServer, email or text messages.

Model Of Solar Heating in Outdoor Swimming Pool

This work deals with modeling of the technological process of heating the outdoor swimming pool. In the theoretical part are given the necessary information for resolving the simulation of heating process. Based on the theoretical background is elaborated a mathematical model of swimming pool and the technological process. This model is programmed in ANSI C language and implemented into the microcontroller ATmega8. There is also a model of the whole problem in Matlab Simulink. The result of this work is practicum model, which simulates the technological process of swimming pool heating. This model is connected to PLC B&R in which is implemented regulation and visualisation of the technological process.
