Didactic Usage of Invasive Species of Trees in Education at Lower Secondary Schools

The diploma thesis focuses on the problem with invasive species of trees in teaching at the 2nd grade of primary schools. The main goal of this work is the research of natural at the second level of elementary schools with an emphasis on invasive tree species. As another goal, the author set himself to find out, using a suitably prepared pretest, the entry level of knowledge before the actual teaching of this topic. After completing the course, verify the acquired knowledge and compare it with the initial knowledge using the same posttest. Another goal of the work is to acquaint students, through appropriately chosen teaching methods and forms, with the topic of invasive trees that grow near their place of living. The student will become familiar with the basic features, invasive behavior, mapping and subsequent disposal of the selected invasive tree species. In this work, the questioning method is used, where the students, through pretests and posttests, answer questions that reflect the information contained in some textbooks of biology for the 2nd grade of elementary schools. Returning Vertebrate Species as a Topic of Environmental Education

The presented thesis deals with the relationship between humans and animals that return to the Czech Republic due to various circumstances, especially national protection, and protection within the European Union. This is a group of animals that have been exterminated from the Czech wilderness for various reasons and upon their return cause damage, arouse fear and cause controversy. The spontaneous return and reintroduction of some vertebrate species is, therefore, considered a controversial topic at present because we are facing reintroduced and returning species more and more frequently. This is why people should ideally be introduced to this topic at primary schools, where the information is presented in a clear and didactic way, rather than later on, for example, in the context of various attitudes-raising campaigns. For this reason, this research was performed at primary schools, grammar schools and secondary vocational schools training future foresters and fishermen, in order to determine what pupils' attitudes towards these returning or reintroduced vertebrate species are and what can influence these attitudes. Design of Nature Trail in the Locatily Milská stráň near Bílichov Village

In the thesis, I propose a nature trail through the "Nature park Džbán" near the village Bílichov. I spent long time walking in this area and I really missed a nature trail there. I followed the paths throughout the Nature park, and now I tried to project the nature trail as I wanted to find it within this area. Aside from the formation of the trail I dealt with exploring the protected areas in the near neighborhood and especially some representative plant species that can be found there.
