(in English): This thesis deals with the process of implementation of palliative care in nursing home. It describes the development of competencies and skills in a multidisciplinary team when working with palliative clients and their families, with an emphasis on the issue of the contribution of social work. It compares the developmental steps in the implementation of palliative care in the leading Domov Sue Ryder project with other projects in the country. In doing so, it looks at the experience and development of palliative care in nursing home abroad.

Evaluation of zootherapy by the client of the center of educational care

(in English): This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of zootherapy by the client of the center of educational care. The work includes a description of therapy (with the help of animals) which takes place in the educational centres in the Czech Republic. This thesis deals with the proces of therapy itself, outlines the work with a problematic groups of young people and last but not least, it deals with the perception and experience of a client during therapy. Moreover, there is quantitative research which was conducted in the form of a survey.
