Doupal, Ondřej ; Bláhová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The project design processes multifunctional center for leisure and sports. The center is situated in Šternberk and its capacity is about 150 people. There is inter alia the wellness center, with saunas and whirlpool, a fitness, gym and a beauty salon. Architecturally, the object is conceived as paralell blending of three units of a different colors and sizes. As well as all construction compositions are more developed basis for air conditioning systems. Documentation is processed at the level of documentation for building permit.
House with establishment
Podola, Michal ; Blahová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The project sloves a new family house with an establishment in a quiet location on the edge of the village Chomýž. The purpose of building is providing basic snacks for tourists and cyclists. The establishment offers indoor and outdoor seating. The house is situated in a slightly steep land near the local trails. It is a three-storey detached building with two floors. The Construction system consists of masonry Porotherm, further insulated system Baumit Open and horizontal structures Miako, also Porotherm. The roof is a part of nailed trusses with a angle of 12°. Above the building there is a single casting flat roof.
House with a meditation center
Jančíková, Dominika ; Blahová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The aim of this work was to make a project of a new building for family housing with a place for meeting people interested in meditation and yoga. The building is located in region Olomouc, cadastral area Samotišky. This L-shaped building has one underground floor, ground floor and first floor. The centre for meditation is located in a part of the ground floor, the rest of the building is designed for family housing. The walls are made of lime-sandy blocks, the constructions of ceilings are based on ceramic beams and components known as Miako. The roof construction above the first floor is flat, one-coating, the rest of the roof constructions is made of wooden girders. The building is located on a slope, so an inseparable part of this project was to plan some terrain adaptations.
House with establishment

The topic of my thesis is new building family house with an establishment - offices. The house is situated in flat terrain in Kroměříž in the new development of houses. House has 2 floors. The first floor is divided into a part of the establishment and the part for living, the second floor is designed only for living. The building is designed in the system Porotherm (walls and ceilings) with thermal system ETICS WEBER. The roof is a flat roof.
Apartment building with amenities
Štolfa, Marek ; Bláhová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
Thesis "Apartment building with amenities" is developed in the form of project documentation containing all requirements according to applicable regulations. The proposed facility is located in Brno, in Stránice district. It is a four story building with flat roof and no basement. On the ground floor there are medical center, technical facilities and clubrooms. Housing units are proposed in the second to the fourth floor.
House with hairdresser
Bárta, Petr ; Blahová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The theme of bachelor’s thesis is a family house in Hořice. It is a family house with two floors and with an establishment, concretely hairdressing salon, which is located and functionally connected with the dwelling. There is a garage for two cars. The building is designed of system Porotherm and ceiling construction of system Porotherm MIAKO. The cladding is insulated by certified contact insulation. The roofs are single-layer and flat.
Kindergarten
Macháček, Pavel ; Bláhová, Pavla (referee) ; Čuprová, Danuše (advisor)
The subject of this project is a nursery school in Sokolnice. The building consists of four departments, facilities for personnel and kitchen. The building is designed as a two-storey cellarless building. It has concrete foundations. The external walls are designed from POROTHERM 425 T Profi bricks with internal insulation. The internal vertical construction is designed from POROTHERM bricks for thin-layer masonry. The supporting structure of roof is provided by slab method Spiroll. The entrance doors are made from aluminum sections, plastic windows. The building has single-layer flat roof with waterproofing coating.
Preparation and properties of α,ω-bis(terpyridyl)oligothiophenes and related supramolecular polymers
Bláhová, Pavla
Presented diploma thesis describes synthesis of novel α,ω-bis(terpyridyl)-bithiophenes and α,ω-bis(terpyridyl)terthiophenes with alkyl substituents on thiophene rings. The α,ω- bis(terpyridyl)oligothiophenes were prepared using Suzuki-Miyaura coupling of 4'-(5-bromo- 3-alkylthien-2-yl)terpyridine with 2,5-thiophenediboronic acid and 2,2'-bi(1,3,2- dioxaborolane), respectively. The succesfull transformation of 4'-(5- -bromo-3-alkylthien-2-yl)terpyridine to corresponding bis(terpyridyl)oligothiophenes was confirmed by NMR and HR-MS analyses and IR spectroscopy. UV-vis spectroscopy, excitation and emission photoluminescence (suplemented with determination of photoluminescence quantum yields) and cyclic voltammetry were used to study spectroscopic and redox properties of novel α,ω-bis(terpyridyl)oligothiophenes and previously prepared unsubstitued α,ω-bis(terpyridyl)bithiophene and α,ω- -bis(terpyridyl)terthiophene. Interaction of zinc ions with ligands soluble in tetrahydrofurane was studied using UV-vis spectroscopy and emission photoluminescence spectroscopy. Main-chain supramolecular polymers were sucessfully prepared from four soluble ligands and zinc ions. Properties of prepared polymers were studied using UV-vis spectroscopy, excitation and emission photoluminescence spectroscopy and IR...
Coexceedance in Exchange Rates - Analysis of Contagion in Central and Eastern European Countries
Bláhová, Pavla ; Horváth, Roman (advisor) ; Kočenda, Evžen (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to examine the contagion in Central and Easter European countries, namely in Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland. From all possible propagation channels, it chooses to focus on exchange rates. The method of coexceedance with consequent quantile regression is employed. We find that coexceedance does occur but not as frequently as assumed. The coexceedance occurs more frequently during the depreciation of the currencies. The persistence effect is very significant and the coexceedances are ``continual'' rather than ``correcting'' for previous extremes. We found evidence for both asset class effect and volatility effect. These effects have different impact during the 2008 Financial Crisis most of the times. An evidence for both Hungarian and Polish government bond yields having influence on the coexceedance with Czech Republic. Surprisingly, we did not find evidence for oil market influence on coexceedance.
Genetically Modified Biofuels in the Context of Central Europe
Bláhová, Pavla ; Janda, Karel (advisor) ; Kvaček, Jan (referee)
1 Abstract Biofuels have been in the center of focus for many years. They are believed to be the solution to rising fossil fuel demand. This work links together cellulose based biofuels and genetical engineering. Biofuels consumption and production are encouraged all over the world. On the other hand genetical engineering faces harsh legislative obstacles. Our work examines the influence of GM corn on corn for silage yields, which can be used to produce cellulose based ethanol. Results of our model state that if 85% of corn sown area in the CZ was dedicated to GM corn, the yields of corn for silage would increase to 150%. Main drawback of our analysis is that estimates suffer from large uncertainty. Based on discovered significant positive effect, the work recommends liberalization of rigorous EU legislation concerning GM crops. The results of this work can indicate further focus of biofuel industry as well as development in genetical engineering. JEL Classification Q16, Q42, C23 Keywords biofuels, cellulose based ethanol, GM crops, GM corn Author's e-mail PBlahova@email.cz Supervisor's e-mail Karel-Janda@seznam.cz
