Design of electronics and control for touch screen devices tester
Hrůzek, Jan ; Bednařík, Josef (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with a complex design of control electronics for device dedicated to testing touch panels and subsequent implementation of basic communication interface between microcontroller and service PC. There is a detailed analysis of selection procedure of suitable sensors for testing device and of suitable components for control and power circuits as well. The connection and interconnection of all necessary components is solved, including the temporary replacement of the main microcontroller with the Nucleo development board. The UART protocol is used as a tool for communication with the operating PC and Python is used on the operating PC side. It also outlines the extension of the content of this thesis when extending the system with a second device.
Progressive forming die
Bednařík, Josef ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the technologi of surface forming. It deals with the problematics of metal cutting, bending and drawing. It describes basic construction principles of utilities and requirements they have to meet in order to function properly. Furthermore, the thesis deals with a basic description of the construction and function of progressive forming tools. In the final part of the thesis, there is a debate about differences in manufacturing a semi-finished product depending whether it is a roll of metal which is handed in automatically, or a sheet of metal which is handed in manually.
Monitoring system design for aquaponics farm
Mikuš, Tomáš ; Bednařík, Josef (referee) ; Věchet, Stanislav (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an online monitoring system for an aquaponic farm. The system will be able to measure water temperature in tanks, air temperature and humidity, pH of water and water level in tanks. All measured data will be accessible online. The system will also be able to control a fan and water pumps.
Design and implementation of wireless charging for embedded systems
Bednařík, Josef ; Bastl, Michal (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and realization of wireless power charging circuit for embedded systems. The research section focuses on the various ways and technologies used in applications of wireless power transfer. The theoretical part also briefly characterizes resonant inductive coupling and critical parameters of the transfer. This is followed by realization of various variants of transfer coils and electromagnetic oscillators. Wireless power charging prototype system is created and used for testing purposes to find optimal configuration of resonator. The hardware unit presented in the final part of the thesis exploits microcontroller and implemented software is extended by foreign object detection algorithm along with method to monitor battery charging state.
Control of Magnetic Levitation Educational Model
Bednařík, Josef ; Brablc, Martin (referee) ; Matějásko, Michal (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the modelling and control of the magnetic levitation CE 152 laboratory plant, which is specific in its nonlinearity and unstability. Firstly, all parts of the system are described by mathematical equations, which are the basis of the modelling of simulation model created in MATLAB/Simulink. Estimation of parameters is tackled by using the various of experiments and simulation’s model is validated with the real magnetic levitation system. Main body of the paper is focused on description and aplication of control on simulation’s and real model. It is realized by PID regulator, state regulator and feedforward regulator. In the last part of the thesis, the results are evaluated and compared among the all methods of control.
Forming of titanium alloys
Bednařík, Josef ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The work was focused on the forming of titanium and its alloys in order to verify the ductile properties of titanium alloy VT 3-1. Using the upsetting test performed on the CZR 600 press and processed in the Dewesoft application, the strengthening curves for compaction at temperatures ranging from 25 °C to 800 °C were compiled. Based on the performed experiments, the titanium alloy VT 3-1 can be recommended for forming only at higher temperatures. It is recommended to select 700 °C as the lowest forging temperature limit. The material when being upset at lower temperatures showed poor formability due to the strengthening of the material. The yield strength during upsetting at room temperature was measured to be 1 100,8 MPa. In contrast, at 800 °C it has a value of 321,7 MPa. Hardness was determined before and after the test as an additional measurement. After the test, the measurement was performed on the front of the sample and in section. At 700 °C and 800 °C, the hardness resulted in dynamic recrystallization, which resulted in a decrease in hardness. The highest hardness was recorded in the middle of the sample at all temperatures. This result confirmed the thesis that there is a band of the most intense deformation in the perpendicular and axial direction of the sample.
Remote management of the gasoline power generator
Chalupa, Tomáš ; Krejsa, Jiří (referee) ; Bednařík, Josef (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design and implementation of a device for common gasoline power generator to achieve its remote management. First of all, it is focused on the starting mechanism that replaces the operator during manual start. It also deals with selection and implementation of actuators and sensors necessary for operation and monitoring of various states. Finally, the development of a web-based user interface for remote management is discussed. The first part of this paper is devoted to the research of the specific type of power plant used. The remaining part describe the actual design and implementation of the whole device, which is divided into mechanical, electrical and control part.
Design of tester for electric hand tools batteries
Václavík, Tomáš ; Bednařík, Josef (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis describes design and realization of simple testing device used to estimate State of Health of Li-ion accumulator pack. Basic parameters of Li-ion accumulators and methods used to examine their state are explored. Specific type of accumulator and its charger are analyzed. Complete device design, device realization, measurement records and their analysis are carried out. Algorithm for quick estimate of State of Health is created.
