Eye gaze tracking
Bastl, Petr ; Číp, Pavel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the eye gaze tracking and determining the direction and the place of the view. The overview of methods for determining the view direction is provided here. The direct 3D gaze estimation technique is proposed and implemented. The eye gaze can be estimated by using a single camera and under nature head movement. This paper describes the algorithms for the image processing and the image description. The center of the pupil is determined by the genetic algorithm for the ellipse detection. The procedures of the instrumentation calibration are proposed here as well. The work also addresses the issue of the determining the eye location. Finally, the comparison of the accuracy with similar projects is mentioned in my thesis.
People movement analysis in area of interest
Kratochvíl, Jakub ; Bastl, Petr (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the possibilities of monitoring the movement of people in areas of interest. The theoretical part presents various options for motion detection in the stores, from the simplest PIR detectors to the use of thermal cameras or wireless Wi-Fi interfaces. The proposed solution then deals with the detection of the movement of people by using computer vision.
3D data presentation
Bastl, Petr ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis informs about methods for 3D perception. Basic principles of autostereoscopic methods like SIRDS, anaglyph and projection stereo images by two projectors and anaglyphic or polarizing filters are described here. The procedure for generating the view on 3D by means of so-called depth-image-based rendering (DIBR) techniques is analyzed as well. An overview of technologies and formats for projection and simulcast spatial image is stated in this thesis too.
IMPLEMENTING ALGORITHMS ON FPGA UTILIZING C2H TECHNIQUE
Otisk, Libor ; Bastl, Petr (referee) ; Valach, Soběslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with utilizing C2H technique for implementation algorithm on FPGA. Several structures of digital filters FIR and IIR are implemented within this work with usage of C2H. For such a comparison is in terms of FPGA resources utilized, the maximum frequency, latency, complexity of implementation and acceleration obtained to Nios II processor itself. Example for image processing using local operators implemented using C2h is also created to display the result on the LCD.

Quadratures of Newton-Cotes type
Bastl, Petr ; Najzar, Karel (referee) ; Kofroň, Josef (advisor)
In present work we study one of a method on approximation definite integral and important factors which in fluence convergency. It is Newton - Cotes formula. next in work is processed expansion formula on two-dimension problems. Here is describe a Romberg method too. The method is derive just from Newton - Cotes quadrature. Therefore we compare this two method. Single parts are completed with examples which refiect problems with using these formulae.
