Parachute descent impact reduction
Bohýl, Tomáš ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Hájek, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains descrition of ballistic parachute device, describes wound appearing with their use and parts of contruction, which can reduce those.
The design of retractable landing gear for NG4 aircraft
Bartoněk, Jaroslav ; Plhal, Martin (referee) ; Matěják, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes the design of retractable landing gear for the NG-4 ultralight aircraft. Its main part consists of general principle of gear retraction, kinematics analysis, load calculation and structural analysis, material selection and means of controlling by pilot. The thesis contents marginally the typology of aircraft landing gears and their evolution.
Rejected aircraft prototypes
Moštěk, Daniel ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Dubnický, Lukáš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on seven rejected prototype aircraft that took part in tendering processes in Western Bloc countries during the Cold War. The development history of each of these aircraft is summarized, their technical properties are specified, the reason of their rejection is explored, and a comparison is made between them and the preferred aircraft. An assessment of gathered information is then made resulting in the conclusion that studying these rejected prototype aircraft can lead to valuable insights.
Adjusting mechanism of a small rocket engine for space exploration vehicles
Vrana, Andrej ; Popela, Robert (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with designing adjustable gimbal mechanisms used for steering a small rocket engine and their depiction in 3D CAD models. The thesis is divided into two main parts. In the first part, spacecraft used for exploration of celestial bodies are described. All the spacecraft are described in detail, showing their mission phase, their design and technical parameters together with informations about their scientific discoveries, which they provided. The second part describes how rocket engines work with their division into main types and gives examples of rocket engines used in the aerospace industry. Furthermore, means of steering a rocket during flight are described, with also showing various ways of dealing with this issue. Finally, designs of of adjustable gimbal mechanisms are presented, with description of their usability.
Optimal modelling of rivet joints using finite element method
Non-Traditional Aircraft Conception
Musil, Tomáš ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Horák, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about concepts of aircraft that are non-traditional in structural design or unconventional in different aspects. The individual chapters describe selected concepts and give specific examples of airplanes. The work is divided into two main areas according to the unusuality of concepts. Within chapters is the comparison of the given concept based on the chosen technical parameters and the pros and cons. The development and construction of airplanes are mentioned in examples. The conclusion of the chapter always contains a summary of the technical data.
Angle of attack measurement system
Koribský, Denis ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zikmund, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to finish a system for measuring angle of attack and angle of sideslip during the flight. The system is based on two wind vanes that measure angle of attack by using a rotary magnetic encoder. The individual components were connected to Arduino and the program was adapted to these components by using software Arduino IDE. Measured data of the vane angle were after that saved on the SD card. After the system was assembled the vanes were calibrated by using the geometric template. Data of calibration were interpolated with trendline to get the function for calculation of real angle of attack.
Design of a landing gear of an airplane competition kit
Gebrlín, Jakub ; Katrňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to design a landing gear for a competition model of aircraft. The introductory part of this work is focused mainly on study about landing gears and their comparison in terms of advantages and disadvantages for the new competition model both in terms of arrangement and in terms of sliding or fixed chassis. In the second, the practical part the work is focused on computation of load, the strength calculation and the design of chassis.
Design of UL aircraft for physically handicapped pilots
Hejkalová, Anna ; Sklenář, Filip (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the issue of operating aircrafts by people with physical disabi-lities. Firstly, it formulates medical eligibility requirements for pilots with mobility restricti-ons. Because there is a large number of movement restrictions and each of them is very indi-vidual, an adaptation for only one of these categories was chosen for the conceptual design of the aircraft in this diploma thesis: limitation of the lower half of the body. The aircraft is designed to best meet the needs of pilots with this limitation of movement, with emphasis on ergonomics, the possibility of independent use without any help of other people and espe-cially on the safety of the user. Furthermore, the work examines possibilities of adjusting the control of aircraft for the disabled, tries to choose the most suitable one which is then desci-bed. In the end, an examination of the UL2 regulation requirements for the designed aircraft is done.
Conversion kit for L-410 cargo version
Jurda, Martin ; Píštěk, Antonín (referee) ; Bartoněk, Jaroslav (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the design of a safety barrier for the conversion of the L 410 aircraft to a cargo version. The introduction is focused on the description of the use of the aircraft with the subsequent classification of the proposed reconstruction and the compilation of the necessary changes for the reconstruction of the aircraft according to regulations. The work continues with a conceptual and structural design, which provides detailed structural solutions to the barrier. Another part is the strength verification of the designed barrier parts using FEM calculation. The last chapter is a comparison of the modified aircraft with aircraft of the same category used for cargo transport.
