Dvořáková, Eva ; Bambuchová, Jarmila (referee) ; Sochor, Jan (advisor)
The proposed building responds to a chamfered corner of the solved plot by turning the mass of the dining hall on the ground floor and the mass of the student dormitory above it. Under the protruding upper mass arises covered main entrance to the building. The ground floor of the building is directly connected to the adjacent hotel Austerlitz. The higher levels are stepping back from the street front. The mass of the student dormitory respects here the current glass corner on the top floor of the building Austerlitz. The facades to the streets Táborského nábřeží and Vídeňská are covered with a wire mesh to enable the creepers grow on it. There will be gaps in the wire mesh in front of the windows to the student rooms. The student housing is designed as maisonettes. These two storey maisonettes are divided into several groups including 5 to 8 rooms. Each group has its own “living room” and kitchenette.

HOUSE ON THE EDGE – Valašské Meziříčí, Sokolská Street
Lakomčíková, Žofia ; Bambuchová, Jarmila (referee) ; Sochor, Jan (advisor)
Building area is located south of downtown Valašské Meziříčí. The name " house on the edge" is an apt description of his position. The plot is located between the streets Sokol, one of the main roads in the city and is the circuit in place of the former city walls, and Polášková, which can be considered as the main entrance to the city center. Land is therefore the wall or the edge between the center and the adjacent housing estate buildings. Today is this area used for public parking, which can be a shame because the place has good potential, especially for its central location within the urban structure and in my design, I tried use this potencial as much as possible.

Czech Republic - state or business?
Bambuchová, Jarmila ; Mlejnek, Josef (advisor) ; Švec, Kamil (referee)
The title of following thesis refers to an assertion made by entrepreneur and chairman of business firm party ANO 2011 Andrej Babiš. His slogan proposing 'to run the state in the same way as the firm' helped him to electoral gain accounting for 18,65% of votes securing the place in the government. Based on the broader theoretical framework of so called 'non-classical' economic approach to the notion of democracy this thesis focuses on the presence of economical features in functioning of two Czech political subjects VV and ANO 2011. Research unfolds at two levels. First, it concentrates on general considerations about theoretical significance of business-firm theories in the framework of functioning of democratic state. Second, it presents an application of these theories - a case study of two Czech political parties.
