PharmDr. Radim Kučera, Ph.D. Title: LC-HRMS analysis of selected drugs in biological material II. Anxiety disorders affect up to 25 % of the population in their life, the lifetime prevalence is 13,6 %. Insomnia affect at least one third of the population in their life, the prevalence is 15-40 %. Drugs used to treat anxiety and insomnia easily cross the blood-brain barrier and affect the CNS. It is therefore necessary to determine the correct dosing schedule and monitor treatment. The result is optimization of treatment, reduction of side effects and increased patient adherence to treatment. The rapid qualitative and quantitative analysis for urgent cases of intoxication is also needed. This diploma thesis deals with development and optimization of an extraction method for selected benzodiazepines (alprazolam, bromazepam, diazepam, chlordiazepoxide, clonazepam, midazolam, oxazepam) and zolpidem in human serum. Analysis of the competitive enviroment of the spa services in Luhačovice

The subject of this diploma thesis is "Analysis of the competitive enviroment of the spa services in Luhačovice". The main aim of the thesis is comparison of spa services of different spa facilities operating in Luhačovice and choose the best provider of the services. The PEST analysis was used for reaching the main aim which included political, economic, social and technological indicators that influenced most of businesses in spa tourism. The another step was to analyse internal competitive environment of Luhačovice. It means that chosen spa subjects are analysed and then the strongest and best current provider of spa services is determined. The final part of the thesis is focused on recommendations for maintaining position and increase the competitiveness of the best provider.
The analysis of tourism in the selected city (Kutná Hora)

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of tourism in the selected city - Kutná Hora. The aim of the thesis is evaluation of current situation of tourism in the city Kutná Hora, to analyse its potential for tourism developement, the level of infrastructure and the level of the institutions, which support the tourism industry in the city. Next the visit rate of sights in Kutná Hora and the visit rate of the information center was assessed. The first section deals with theoretical definition of basic concepts of tourism, which are presented in this thesis. A brief description of the city Kutná Hora is provided in the second section. The third section introduces the attractions, which are in Kutná Hora, and the tourism infrastructure in the city. Further the competitiveness of Kutná Hora is assessed with other UNESCO monuments in the Czech Republic. The acquired knowledges are summarized in form of a SWOT analysis. In conclusion the possible proposals for increase in attractiveness of the city for potential tourists are presented.
