Juvenile Risk Behaviour with a View to Abuse Progress.
Švábová, Lea ; Vaníčková, Eva (advisor) ; Kopřivová Herotová, Tereza (referee)
The title of this bachelor thesis is "Juvenile Risk Behaviour with a View to Abuse Progress". We consider this as very broad area and my goal was not to explain every part of the issue. My goal was to approach only some parts of the complex problem. My first objective was to gain basic information about the syndrome of adolescent risk-taking. My next goal was to find out more about what experience with the habit-forming drug the pupils of the second level of the particular primary school and first and second years of the particular high school have had. The first part of the thesis summarises the findings about socially pathological phenomena, their definition, origin and consequences. I also concentrated on the prevention of this syndrome. In the second part of this thesis I concentrated on empirical research. I was concentrating on the second level of primary school and first and second years of high school. Children at this age belong in the endangered group. Using the method of interview, I attempted to map whether or not the pupils have any experience with the habit forming substances and if they think they are bad for their health.
Spatiotemporal analysis of incidence of influenza epidemic in Czechia
Švábová, Lea ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Šídlo, Luděk (referee)
Influenza has accompanied humanity for centuries, and thousands of people have died from it for centuries. Every year, seasonal flu occurs regularly in the Czechia, caused by normally circulating flu viruses, in which minor changes occur. However, once every 10-20 years, a completely new subspecies of this virus will appear, which the human body has not yet encountered, as the virus undergoes major genetic changes. The aim of the work is to use statistical methods to reveal long-term patterns in the incidence of influenza in the Czechia from both temporal and regional point of view. The first partial goal is devoted to the regularity of the onset of the influenza epidemic in individual regions of the Czechia and the long-term development of the incidence of influenza, using the analysis of time series for the years 2007- 2018. The first result of the work was the finding that the flu season in the Czechia has a regular onset with a deviation of one week and the incidence trend is declining in the studied years. The second partial goal is to evaluate and visualize in map the form of regional differentiation in the incidence of influenza epidemic at the regional level in the Czechia. The analysis showed that influenza spreads in the Czechia quite randomly and global patterns of spread do not apply...
Spatiotemporal analysis of spreading of influenza epidemic in Czechia
Švábová, Lea ; Netrdová, Pavlína (advisor) ; Šídlo, Luděk (referee)
Influenza is accompanying humans for centuries and for centuries people are dying in hundreds. Every year there is seasonal influenza epidemy, which is caused by common circling influenza viruses in which happened small changes. Every 10-20 years is discovered completely new influenza virus subtype which is created by big genetical changes. Most affected areas are poor states in Asia or in different countries with insufficient hygiene or unavailable medical care, these countries also have huge mortality. Czech Republic wasn't independent for many centuries and describing historical evolution of this disease is very complicated, but we have few data form Spanish influenza time. Influenza and other acute or chronical respiratory are reported, so it is possible to create some demographic or statistical analysis. Unfortunately, in Czech Republic only 50-55 % of all cases are reported. This work is devoted to spatiotemporal analysis of influenza in Czechia and is done through statistical analysis like corelation analysis or time series analysis that are examining spatiotemporal way of the spread of the virus. Goals of this thesis with the help of these methods are to answer questions about questions concerning the spatiotemporal patterns of influenza spread, therefore what the repeatability of...
