Landmark Detection in Medical Images Using Deep Neural Networks
Škandera, Juraj ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Kodym, Oldřich (advisor)
This thesis deals with detection of anatomical landmarks from cephalometric X-ray images using convolutional neural networks. Program works with public available dataset, which consists of side X-ray images of skull. There are two architectures of convolutional neural networks proposed in this thesis.  The best architecture achieves accuracy of 73.22% for detection within 5 mm. Program is created in Python language with use of Tensorflow framework.
Mobile App for Editing and Viewing Simple Weekly Schedules
Džubarová, Romana ; Škandera, Juraj (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a mobile application that will write down the regular weekly activities of the user. Users are not only university or high school students, but the application is intended to appeal to all people who need to register for regular activities during the week. Users can create activities which are inserted into the table. These activities can be changed or deleted. The application allows you to create a test task. It is possible to set a notification for the exams, which the user will receive at the time of the exam, or he can change this time in the Settings. The user can also change what his table will look like in Settings. He can change the days on which he wants to record activities or the start and end time of activity. The application can also be set to dark mode to save battery life. The bachelor thesis describes the design, implementation, testing, and also future intentions for my mobile application.
Simple Mobile and Web App for Organizing Meetings
Fašánková, Erika ; Škandera, Juraj (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a web application, the purpose of which will be to manage the queue of people. The application will help to better organize the people waiting for their turn and save them a lot of time, as they can enroll to the queue before arriving at the place. The application, developed using the Django framework and the PostgreSQL database and other technologies, is located on Heroku. The web application is responsive and thus adapted to mobile devices or tablets. The user creates the queue - "traffic light" and sees a list of people enrolled in the queue on his administration page. You can end or open enrolling to queue, or call next person waiting in queue. People who want to join the queue already know, how many people are waiting for their turn. After join, they have the ability to control their position, which is updated without having to refresh the page. The content of the bachelor thesis is acquaintance with the principle of web application development, existing solutions to a similar problem, the design of the application Organize Semaphore, the technologies used and the implementation of the application.
