Electronic banking in Czech republic and its possibilities

The aim of the bachelor's thesis "Electronic banking in Czech republic and its possibilities" is to analyze and bring closer electronic (direct) banking of the Czech Republic to readers and to map its current state. This thesis also defines the client's connection options with the bank throught various types of communication channels. In the first part of this thesis the reader will be apprised with the conception of the electronic banking and its basic features. Its followed by brief historical developement of direct banking in the world and in our country, fundamental differences between electronic and traditional bank, including the pros and cons from the prespective of banks and also from perspective of clients and next its security and potential risks of remote access to the bank. Initial part of this thesis is also the definition and distribution of the electronic money. The second part describes and briefly assesses various forms and communication channels of electronic banking used in Czech Republic. Among these forms are: credit cards, phonebanking, GSM banking, WAP banking, JAVA banking, PDA banking and computer banking including homebanking and internet banking. The final part of the bachelor's thesis covers the evaluation of the questionnaire focused on current exploitation of electronic banking services, and on mapping of public attitudes and preferences for direct banking as such.
Disinformation and its impacts on practice

The diploma thesis is focused on disinformation and its relationship to the mass media and public. The main aim of the thesis is to provide a general overview of disinformation, point out the menace resulting from its underestimating and present the clues on how to eliminate its impacts. The work is divided into two main parts. The first one is theoretical and summarizes the existing knowledge in information and disinformation theory. It is supplemented by own typology of the disinformation and includes a practical example of each type. The end of the theoretical part is addressed to the special place that mass media have in the process of disinforming. The second part is related to practical issues. It results from a detailed analysis of the most widely-read statewide daily newspapers and the structure of their readers. The social-demographic factors that influence the rate of received disinformation are set.
Comparison of the czech universities' websites

Tématem práce je srovnání webových stránek českých vysokých škol. Její hlavní část tvoří jednotlivé analýzy a konečné srovnání oficiálních stránek dvou předních českých vysokých škol. Srovnání je prováděno na základě tří základních kritérií, z nichž jedno má ještě další tři kategorie. Daná kritéria jsou doplněna o váhy, které vyjadřují jejich důležitost. Nejsou porovnávány technické aspekty stránek, analýza je zaměřena na běžného uživatele a jeho základní požadavky. U nalezených nedostatků je popsán návrh na jejich řešení. V samotném závěru je provedeno testování na třech skupinách uživatelů. Ti jsou vybráni tak, aby představovali co nejreprezentativnější vzorek všech možných návštěvníků stránek vysokých škol.
