Radiative processes of small molecules
Šimsová, Martina ; Soldán, Pavel (advisor) ; Čurík, Roman (referee) ; Kalus, René (referee)
Four types of astrochemically relevant radiative processes are studied: bound-bound, bound-free, free-bound and free-free. The former two together determine radiative lifetimes, which are calculated for the HeLi+ molecular ion. Free-bound processes, also called radiative association, are studied on two systems: He in collisions with Li+ , and O in collision with C+. Collisions of He and Li+ are believed to have occurred during the recombination era of the Universe, while collisions of O with C+ are considered to be relevant in SN 1987A. Altogether, 17 radiative association cross sections and rate coefficients are calculated for radiative association, and the effect of a stimulated emission is also illustrated. A free-free process, also called radiative charge transfer, is studied in collisions of He with Li+.

Actual Methods of Elementary Reading ( a specific interest - Sfumato Method)
Šimsová, Martina ; Wildová, Radka (advisor) ; Ronková, Jolana (referee)
As a topic of my thesis I chose Current Methods of Teaching of Initial Reading (with a specific focus on the SFUMATO method). In the theoretical part I deal with the issue of reading literacy in pre-primary and primary education. I also describe the division and development of methods from a historical point of view. Further chapters are devoted to the most used methods of elementary reading teaching at present. In more detail I tried to describe the less well-known methodology of Sfumato. The practical part of my diploma thesis was used as a research probe in teaching using the Sfumato methodology and comparison with control groups in which the analytic-synthetic method and the genetic method are used to teach elementary reading. The results of my work show that the Sfumato methodology can be beneficial for both children and pupils and can help in avoiding unwanted reading habits.
Josef Proksch and his methodology of teaching piano (in the light of his six books of Practical School of Piano Playing)
Šimsová, Martina ; Ottlová, Marta (advisor) ; Gabrielová, Jarmila (referee)
This thesis discovers and analyzes the Josef Proksch's approach to piano teaching based on his six books of Practical School of Piano Playing. In each book we study the increasing technical difficulty, the selection of the particular exercises, études and compositions. The whole set of the course books is also described in terms of its structure, language variants and editions issued by various publishers. The storage location of all the examined exemplars in the main Prague libraries is summarized in a clear table. Furthermore we go thru the programs of Proksch Music Institute public exams. This helps us to reveal the then preferences of both the lay and the professional public. This work also tries to track the Proksch's influence on his most popular student Bedřich Smetana. The analyzed course books are compared with Smetana's institute teaching materials. There we have found that Smetana continues and develops Proksch's ideas. Keywords Josef Proksch, Practical School of Piano Playing, Versuch einer Rationellen Lehrmethode, Josef Proksch Music Institute, School of Piano Playing, Piano Teaching, Piano Methodology, Analysis, Bedřich Smetana
