Hot Water Grate Boiler
Svoboda, Marek ; Šilhavý, Karel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of hot water grate boiler, where the output is water with parameters 130 °C and pressure 16 bar. In the content of the whole thesis is gradually introduced a stoichiometric calculations, which is based on the specified fuel – wood chips. This is followed by the design of the individual heating surfaces according to the thermal calculations given in the thesis. Finally, the calculation is extended by hydraulic and aerodynamic losses. Dimensional design, as a basic scheme, is shown at thesis. More detailed drawing documentation is attached to this thesis.
Co-Combustion Gas Boiler
Pavlík, Marek ; Šilhavý, Karel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design of a co-combustion gas boiler for coal gas and blast furnace gas mixture. The calculation includes stoichiometry, determinination of the boiler efficiency, steam production rate and heating surfaces sizing. This thesis also includes technical documentation of designed gas boiler. The calculation of the boiler meets the values specified by the scripts and also by documentation from PBS. The boiler was designed for 113.9 MW and 93.77 % efficiency.
Grate RDF Boiler
Lachman, Jakub ; Šilhavý, Karel (referee) ; Lisý, Martin (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the design of a boiler for RDF combustion, based on the required power output and superheated steam parameters. The first part of the thesis focuses on combustion calculations. Boiler efficiency is also calculated in this chapter, using the heat balance efficiency method. The main part of the thesis consists of dimensional design and heat transfer calculations. The precision of the calculations is checked at the end of the thesis along with the chlorine corrosion, which is considered because of the higher amount of chlorine in the fuel. The thesis comes with a basic schematic of the designed boiler.
