Traffic characteristics of 2+1 arrangement
Kabeš, Luboš ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The thesis discusses the roads in lanes 2 + 1 arrangement in the country and abroad. It focuses primarily analogy of this type of arrangement in our situation, ie on stretches of roads I. classes with an increased number of lanes for slow vehicles to climb. Part of this work is to verify some of the traffic, including traffic flow characteristics compared to conventional two-lane roads, especially in terms of: sectional speed; overtaking; Accident and dependence longitudinal gradient. The work aims to evaluate the foreign experience and achievements of domestic communications options for application configuration 2 + 1 in the Czech Republic.

Optimization Of Selected Proposed ČSN Elements For Road Design
Kokeš, Ondřej ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
Diploma thesis describes and researches some proposed ČSN 73 6101 elements for road design and their subsequent comparison with Norma de Traçado that is main law for road design in Portugal. In practical part, the speed of vehicles during moving on direction curves is researched and subsequently coherence of theoretical assumptions with real speeds is compared. The main aim of this work is to verify the assumption that design speed does not correspond to the real speed that drivers move on road structures.
Location Study of The Road II/152 in Stage Modřice - Ivančice
Konečná, Tereza ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The Diploma thesis is devoted to working out the searching study for modernization of the road II/152 between the cities Modřice and Ivančice with connection of the existing infrastructure to the new transport solution. The aim was the improvement of the quality of transport, reduce the traffic in the municipalities and the noice related to it and the improvement of environment.Four variants were designed and the most suitable possibility was solved
Selected ČSN Road Design Elements Optimization
Stránský, Jakub ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The master‘s thesis focuses on the optimization of the design values of curves of the horizontal alignments of the roads. It deals with the comparison of values between czech and foreign standards and differences between them. The practical part examines the values of the real speeds of vehicles passing through the curves of various parameters that were measured during measurements of selected curves during 2014. From these data a new design values are derived that could be used for the design of horizontal alignments.
II/379 and II/373 crossroad security risk solution in the Jedovnice village
Merčáková, Petra ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
This thesis investigates the design documentation of the proposal to amend the existing confusing intersection of contact on the contact rectifying junction with traffic or roundabout. Optimization Of Selected Proposed ČSN Elements For Road Design
Moravec, Karel ; Čepil, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
Subject of the work is comparison between the selected Czech standards elements for the road design and the standards in selected EU Member States. Based on the comparison and in agreement with the supervisor is designed to optimize the control elements of pitch towards sustainable transport safety. The work addresses the longitudinal gradients of motorways, expressways and other roads directionally divided according to standard ČSN 73 6101.
