The intent of this thesis Subject matter of public procurement process relating to municipalities is the analysis of the public procurement procedure undertaken by public authorities, mainly small towns and communities. As a part of the diploma I deal with the applicable legislation of the public procurement process regarding substantial changes to the process of public procurement made by new legislation that take effect 1. 10. 2016. I also deal with identification of basic problems regarding to public procurement process undertaken by small towns and communities and specify if the new legislation brings problem-solving effect on the public procurement process or not at all.
Comparison of the Czech Limited Liability Company and its establishment and incorporation with the Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung (GmbH) in Germany

The master's thesis deals with the characteristics of a limited liability company in the Czech Republic and Germany. It focuses primarily on the issues of establishment and incorporation of the company and looks for and comments the possible differences in the legislation of the both countries. The thesis is divided into thematic units to be synoptic, where within each unit characterizes in the first instance the Czech legislation, thereafter German legislation and then subsequently are the both legislations compared. The aim of the thesis is to familiarize the readers with the basic differences in the both legislations.
Citizen participation in community activities

This Bachelor thesis on the Citizen participation in community activities deals with the applicable legislation of the forms of the citizen participation in community activities and afterwards it evaluates the system of the citizen participation in governance in the city of Louny and gives proposals and recommendations for higher extent of the citizen participation. The first chapter comprises a legal entity status of municipalities, their scope of authority and characteristic of particular administrative bodies. The second chapter deals with a definition of basic terms and an analysis of specific ways of the citizen participation. The third chapter, falling within the practical part of this bachelor thesis, is concerned with an analysis of a voter turnout and the established ways of citizen participation in the city of Louny and proposes further alternatives of cooperation between the city and its citizens.
Options of application project management principles in the Czech civil sector

Dissertation discusses the manners and principles of fundraising for non-profit organizations that are funded only from national and European resources. The purpose of this dissertation is to highlight existing principles of project management in organizations that systematically receive free financial and non-financial resources. The theoretical part describes the basic terminology for NGOs, ways of fundraising and communication inside and outside the organization. Also are named various concepts, principles, and project management life cycle. The last theoretical part is devoted to methods of project management that facilitate and improve the efficiency. Theoretical explanation of the issue creates a basis for research whose aim is the analysis of project management principles used in obtaining free resources in NGOs. Research is carried out in organizations that receive assets from other than just government and European resources. Dissertation provides a detailed description of fundraising in NGOs, foundations and theoretical comparison of the information gathered. A separate section is devoted to the project discovered principles that contribute to the success of polled organizations in obtaining available resources. The work is intended for non-profit organizations that have little or no experience of acquiring free assets for other than state or European sources. Publications can also be used as an inspiration and source of information for students of related disciplines and other interested parties.
Informing employees about terms and conditions of employment contract

The bachelor thesis examines the situation of the statutory obligation to inform about terms and conditions of employment contract regarding both its development and its current legislative state with practical compliance. It analyzes in detail the emergence of this obligation and follows its evolution in the legislative norms. It also includes a summary of points about which the employee should be informed in connection with the creation of employment and a dividing of these according to the statutory announcement time. In the practical part are described the results of work inspections conducted in 2010 focused on the aforesaid obligation. The issue of breaches of the obligation to inform about terms and conditions of employment contract is examined in a questionnaire survey too. Finally also an outline of options solving the non-compliance and circumvention of this obligation is included in the conclusion.
