Establishing Old Age Pension Retirement Age Limits

Establishing retirement age is a key issue for each and every pension system. How this issue is resolved is palpable for every citizen and also has a major political dimension. The main reasons for increasing the retirement age - which is occurring in all European countries - are demographic development and economic factors, such as higher life expectancy, increasing the proportion of pensioners to the number of economically active people, and the growing costs for the pension system. This thesis describes the current reform steps in Europe and provides a thorough analysis of factors which are relevant for dealing with retirement age issues. The analysis is based on official statistical data, which are scrutinized even in mutual correlations. The need for an interdisciplinary approach which eliminates unilateral vistas and biased application of data lifted out of context and long-term trends is emphasized. Special attention is paid to the genesis and current solutions regarding the retirement age in the Czech Republic. This thesis offers reasoning which supports setting 65 years of age as the statutory retirement age, including the mechanism for increasing it depending on how the life expectancy factor develops. Analysis of energy saving in Czech republic with respect to EU/2012/27 regulation

This thesis discusses the implementation of EU Energy efficiency directive into national legislatures and the fulfilment of its goals. It expands on the past reports, correct for their mistakes and provide a new unique approach to track the current progress. The thesis analyzes all member states national action plans for energy efficiency (NAPEE) and compares them in between each other. The quality of NAPEEs is critically evaluated and described. In first section it explains and narrows the most crucial definitions. In second section it gives the basic summary of the regulation to interested readers. Followed by in depth analysis and evaluation of all EU member states national action plans for energy efficiency. The following chapter then deals with solely with Czech NAPEE. The last section provides the hard data and exclusively developed indices that tracks the progress toward EU 2020 goals.

Stress testing the Czech banking system: Where are we? Where are we going?

This note summarizes the various outputs from the CNB research project Stress Testing for Banking Supervision. The note describes the current status of the project by presenting the latest stress test results and by comparing the methodology of these tests with those presented by other central banks. Finally, the note suggests further steps to improve the stress testing program at the CNB, such as strengthening credit risk modeling, including by engaging commercial banks in the exercise.

Jan Werich´s fairy tales in the genre and developmental context of czech fairy tales which are influenced by their authors

This diploma thesis focuses on Werich?s fairy tales. The first section deals with fairy tales which are influenced by their authors against the background of folkloric fairy tale. The second section monitors the development of this type of fairy tale from 1870?s to 1960?s by reason of Fimfárum?s first publication. The third part deals with interpretations of single fairy tales from Fimfárum. On the basis of these interpretations the genre constants and author innovations are studied. The fourth section handles with film version of these fairy tales. The last section introduces Deoduši. This book has been recently published and contains less known texts from Werich which were not collectively published by this time.

Efektivní politická komunikace

Publikace, která se vám dostává do rukou, si klade za cíl posílení komu- nikačních schopností a dovedností v politických tématech. Získat si přízeň voličů, veřejnosti nebo určitých skupin je dnes extrémně důležité. Ať půso- bíte v evropských institucích, státní správě nebo v politickém aparátu, tak je přízeň velmi důležitým ukazatelem. Efektivní využití úspěšných postupů a nových technologií je obsahem příspěvků ve sborníku. Anna Matušková se ve svém příspěvku Politika a komunikace zabývá otázkou, proč je důležité komunikovat se svým voličem a jak dále formulo- vat své sdělení. Ve druhém textu se Otto Eibl snaží představit nový fenomén v dnešním komunikačním světě a to takzvaný Web 2.0, který může, ale i nemusí pomoct politikům nebo mediátorům k novým možnostem v kon- taktu s veřejností. Jan Krčmář ve svém textu „Vizuální image v politice“ vysvětluje, že komunikace není vaší jedinou zbraní. Je-li čtenář voličem, kandidujícím politikem, novinářem, studentem či jinak aktivním členem občanské společnosti, najde v této publikace cenné informace a doporučení, jež se týkají významu politické komunikace. Věřím, že rady zprostředkované příspěvky v této publikaci pomohou významně obohatit čtenáře, kteří se chtějí dozvědět více o problematice marketingu a politické komunikace. Je jen na nás jakých nástrojů použi- jeme, nicméně jednou z cest jak úspěšně prosadit své zájmy je naslouchat druhým.

Outsourcing v zahraničním obchodě (vybrané problémy)

Předmětem častých diskusí posledních několika desetiletí se stal pojem outsourcing, tedy využití externí firmy pro zpracování vedlejších či podpůrných firemních činností. Outsourcing může být aplikován v celém spektru činností firmy, od zajištění služeb až po zajišťování téměř celého procesu výroby. V této práci přiblížím právě tu oblast, která se týká outsourcingu služeb. V českém jazyce dosud neexistuje žádná publikace, která by čtenáře komplexně informovala o problematice outsourcingu. Snaha vyplnit nebo alespoň zmenšit tuto mezeru, tedy vytvořit o tomto tématu ucelený text, je hlavním cílem této práce. V její úvodní části se budu soustřeďovat na vymezení pojmu outsourcingu, na jeho stručnou historii a rozdělení podle v současnosti nejčastěji vyčleňovaných činností. Dále se zaměřím na důvody, na základě kterých se společnosti rozhodují vyčleňovat svoje podnikové procesy, stejně tak jako na rizika s tím spojená. V další části práce popíšu jednotlivé fáze celého outsourcingového procesu a jejich význam pro úspěšné fungování spolupráce zadavatele a poskytovale outsourcingových služeb. Předposlední část obsahuje srovnání a názory představitelů amerických a evropských společností na předmět, efektivitu a intenzitu outsourcingových služeb. Pro téma outsourcingu jsem se nerozhodla náhodou. Před časem jsem získala zaměstnání ve velké mezinárodní společnosti poskytující outsourcingové služby. To byl okamžik, kdy jsem se o tuto oblast začala aktivně zajímat. Zkušenosti, které jsem v tomto zaměstnání získala, se odrážejí v poslední části práce ? konkrétním příkladu fungování outsourcingového projektu z pohledu poskytovatele. Problematika outsourcingu je velmi rozsáhlá, a proto v této práci nemohou být obsaženy všechny aspekty, které zahrnuje. Obsahuje kromě komplexního pohledu na toto téma pouze některé problémy, vybrané s přihlédnutím k jejich aktuálnosti a frekvenci výskytu.
