Algorithms for enhanced suffix array
Šedek, Jindřich ; Senft, Martin (referee) ; Dvořák, Tomáš (advisor)
Suffix tree is one of the most important data structures in string processing. However, the space consumption of the suffix tree is a bottleneck in large scale applications. Suffix array is by contrast a space efficient data structure having not so large domain of applications. To allow usage of the suffix array in more complex applications, we have to enhance it with an additional information. This work is aimed at a study of the enhanced suffix array and suffix tree in selected applications.

Effect of sound on health
Dorková, Lenka ; Hrnčíř, Evžen (advisor)
Sound , whether in a positive or negative effect on man every day of his life . Since coming to the world around us different sounds , pleasant voice from the mother to the noise from automobile traffic outside the window . The sound then accompanied us for the rest of our life , allows our communication is a means of pleasant sensations . Unfortunately, the majority of the population moving into large agglomerations , the development of technology and transport in our daily life we encounter at every step too noise and unpleasant consequences. In my thesis , I would like to address the deeper issues of sound and its effect to humans. In the first chapter, I outline the physical nature of sound, to address the basic physical concepts related to sound and acoustics and briefly bring even the structure of the human auditory system, which allows us to register the sound around us and analyze . In the second chapter, I will own sound effects to humans , the definition of noise, to think of its source and paid to the effects on the human body . I would also like to further analyzed Czech legislation dealing with noise and its health limits . In the second part I will discuss the positive effects of sound , especially on behalf of music and its therapeutic effects , ie music therapy. The aim of my work is to...

International cooperation of schools regarding efficiency of European Union educational program
Plamitzerová, Jindra ; Hamerníková, Dana (referee) ; Cipínová, Jana (advisor)
The final bachelor theses deal with school activities which are focused on foreign countries. Nowadays an international partnership is a common part of modern schools and the events which are realized in terms of international partnership allow to pupils, teachers and headmasters to get and exchange experience to get better language skills and they lead to the development of many key competences. They influence the whole palette of school subjects and the whole school life. The foreign activities are realized in the form of projects and pupils'exchanges which help to personal development of pupils. At the same time they are demanding for everybody envolved, mainly teachers, regarding time and organization. The teachers are able to use effectively the possibilities of the support of European educational programmes and other institutions. The large and fast development of international school activities is mainly enabled by modern communication technologies which are an effective means of communication and project realization. They are also the target skill where all activities are directed.

Socialn and community networks
Harášek, Luboš ; Nekvasil, Marek (advisor) ; Chudán, David (referee)
The aim of thesis is to examine and compare the most important world and Czech internet social networks. For these social networks then secondly to describe the benefits to society and their usability in marketing, but also their seamy sides which represent a danger for users. The objectives of this thesis are the exploration of the internet and book resources and their evaluation. Another source of support for the research results is an Internet questionnaire. This bachelor thesis is divided into four main parts. The first explains the theory of the social and community networks, Web 2.0 and Semantic Web. The second part describes the various social networks and compared their basic services. This is followed by a summary of trends in social networks, the benefits and dangers of social networks. In the last part are presented the results of Internet surveys and reflection on the ideal social network. Benefit of this thesis is to create an overview of most social networks and alert readers to the dangers of these social networks. In reflecting on the ideal social network, describes how this social network might look like, what would allow and how it was solved. Poll among Internet users, shows the view of respondents on the issue and their behaviour in social networks.

Artificial neural networks for clustering and rule extraction
Iša, Jiří ; Jiroutek, Pavel (referee) ; Mrázová, Iveta (advisor)
Rule extraction with neural networks has been a common research topic over the last decades. This master thesis proposes a novel growing fuzzy inference neural network, based on the principle of growing neural structures [5]. This allows the network to adjust iteratively its number of hidden neurons. For the purpose of this network an existing clustering algorithm is enhanced to improve the sensitivity to the requested output. A novel fast weights adaptation, inspired by the fuzzy set theory, is also suggested. The characteristics of the proposed model and a new method of the selection of significant input features support the induction of a relatively small amount of simple fuzzy rules. The introduced techniques have been experimentally tested on real-world data describing the relationship between various types of housing in the Boston area and its price. The data was obtained from the "Boston housing" dataset.

Copyright infringements on the internet
Mezera, Jiří ; Pavlíček, Antonín (advisor) ; Šubrta, Václav (referee)
The purpose of this work is to analyze current state of copyright protection of the art works in regard of rising influence of the internet on the society. Nowadays, a large number of copyrighted data fluctuates through the internet and the character of the internet blocks efficient use of legislation for action against computer piracy. The first part of this work is oriented broadly. It contains evolution of the copyright in historical context, analyzes data downloading and uploading in juristic aspect and there are also significant suits, which routed the evolution of the copyright. There are described two main methods of data downloading and uploading in analytic part of this work -- peer-to-peer and warez forums -- with introduction of their main representatives, analysis of the current state and juristic analysis of their functioning. The last chapter resumes actual findings and tries to predict a future of the symbiosis of the copyright and the internet.

Routing simulation in wireless networks
Kouba, Jan ; Peterka, Jiří (referee) ; Kučera, Luděk (advisor)
This work deals with creation of system for routing simulation in wireless networks. System allows the user to enter relevant parameters for simulation and analyses the network. System can assign simulation parameters automaticaly based on chosen algorithm. First it counts node output powers and second communication routes. It is easy to add new algorithms. System is focused on user friendliness and good extensionality. The objective was not to implement realistic model of real network, but to create system where could be new algorithms tested. There is described architecture of the system in the work, so one can continue with development.

SELECTED PARTS OF THE CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGY PROJECT OF SHOPPING CENTER IN OPAVA
Zilvarová, Barbora ; Řihák, Pavel (referee) ; Mohapl, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with construction technological project of shopping centre Breda & Weinstein in Opava. The thesis handles technological prescriptions of cast-in-place reinforced concrete constructions and ventilated facade made of large format precast elements with graphical surface. There is machine assembly, design of site equipment, control and test plan and computation of time of formwork dismantle for the realization of reinforced concrete constructions. There is also time and financial plan, itemized budget with bill of quantities and construction schedule for earthwork, building foundations and cast-in-place constructions.

Residential house in Ostrava
Šponarová, Lucie ; Procházka, Martin (referee) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is to design a building with apartments in a high standard of living. The building will be located on sloping land currently accessible from the street Hybnerová in cadastral area of Silesian Ostrava. Construction, surrounding land and fence form a unified aesthetic and functional whole, reflecting the sloping nature of the site. White matter of structure grows continuously from the lowest point and produces fencing which spirals around the property and rise harmoniously into the building itself. Adjusted terrain of land creates platforms for individual gardens for each apartments and produces space for underground garage. The house is designed as a three-storey building with underground garage. The building will accommodate 5 residential units with terraces and technical and storage spaces within the basement. The building is oriented southwest and its location allows splitting the land to the eastern and western gardens. Southwest orientation uses the only unblocked view from the property. Continuously rising fence separates the building from surrounding buildings and offers plenty of privacy for the residents. Concrete fence has also security function.
