Diploma thesis ,, Mythology and ideology of advertisement in magazine Vlasta from 1947 and 2011" deals with a specific way of understanding of values by current society, of a role of woman and family expressed by advertisement and where we can find modern myths and ideology. I chose two issues for analysis, issue 1 from year 1947 and issue 65 from year 2011. In theoretic part we described the origin of myths, their changes and understanding modern myths by current society. We tried to explain meaning of ideology, understanding of character man and woman in advertisement before and now, semiotic codes as per Barthes, Saussure and Peirce and stereotype usage. In practical part we tried to find out how myths are connected with theme family, place and a role of woman and ideology of current society. We tried to find modern myths in nowaday and past advertisements. We applied semiotic and visual analysis on every advertisement from both issues, tried to find signs and how they changed. Changes in mythology are affected by ideology of society, we can see changes in form of advertisement, in issue 65 are mainly colourful photographs, competitions and advertisement for next Vlasta issue.

Holická, Monika ; Kolářová, Libuše (referee)
Cercarial dermatitis caused by bird schitosomes is in focus not only by scientists, but also by the general public. The disease has medical and economic impact, and it is responsible for financial losses in many resorts all around the world. Only some causative agents of the disease are known, because of parasite cryptic life style and biology (e.g. size and location of adults in the definitive host; gonochorism) and inaccurate descriptions in the past. With the onset of modern molecular methods taxonomic revisions of old species of bird schistosomes and descriptions of new ones are of top interest. In Europe pulmonate snails are used by bird schistosomes as intermediate hosts, with some exceptions. Descriptions of new species and genera were recently focused on findings from lymnaeid molluscs, in which the genus Trichobilharzia (the most significant causative agent of cercarial dermatitis) is often developing. Therefore, less attention was paid to the snails of the family Planorbidae. Planorbid snails are most commonly infected by the species of Bilharziella polonica, its typical host in Europe is Planorbarius corneus, less common hosts are Planorbis planorbis, Bathyomphalus contortus or Anisus vortex. B. polonica is spread all over the world. There are also known findings from the Czech Republic....

Herglová, Ivana ; Beneš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Bobková, Lenka (advisor)
Due to the irnrnediate environment, the relations between the Kingdom of Bohemia and the Duchy of Bavaria were very frequent and of various nature. The peak of the medieval relations between both the countries was no doubt between the 14th and early 15th century when the kings of the Luxembourg dynasty fought with the Bavarian duke' s family of Wittelsbach for the hegemony in the Holy Roman Empire. In the 15th century, both countries were weakened through either territory division in the case of Bavaria or nonexistence of Royal power in the Bohemian case. The direct contact of both the countries led, during the 15~ and early 16th century to several nominations of Bavarian dukes from the lines Bavaria-Munich, Bavaria-Landshut and the Palatinate-side line to the throne of Bohemia. The two most promising nominations were those of Albrecht III. of BavariaMunich in 1440 and of William IV. and Louis X. of Bavaria, both in opposi tion to the Habsburg House currently holding also the position of the Roman king.
