Barton, Jan ; Kotáb, Petr (referee) ; Kohajda, Michael (referee)
The aim of the master thesis (Legal regulations on collective investing with a view to the role of bank as a depositary) is to analyze contemporary situation of collective investment in European and national context in the light of recent developments and trends in the world financial markets. The main purpose to pursue this subject matter and also the reason why this master thesis has been written is to obtain a clear overview of all regulations and principles (not merely at statutory level) which might affect the activities connected with founding, operation and investment decisions of UCITS and non-UCITS collective investment entities. Second part of the thesis, after the introduction, describes shortly the historical roots of collective investing, followed by a separate subchapter covering the general principle of collective investing through which all other parts of the thesis are knotted together. Third part provides a short structuring of the collective investment entities from a legal point of view, taking into account different characteristics of corporate entities engaged. Also diverse investment strategies and the increasing importance of collective investing within financial market's intermediary functions are mentioned hereby. Fourth part is consequently devoted to the pure description of...

Liability for the infringement of copyright on the Internet
Vzhledem k potřebě sjednocování legislativy členských států EU i v této souvislosti pravděpodobně Česká republika převezme "evropské" řešení.

Combining bracketed pictures
Roubíčková, Anna ; Adámek, Jiří (referee) ; Holub, Viliam (advisor)
In real-life scenes, the light dynamic range is often larger than a digital camera is able to capture. This problem is addressed by exposure bracketing, i.e. the same scene is captured several times with different exposures. This work presents ImageLighter, a program designed for automatic blending of series of bracketed pictures in order to restore the original dynamic range. The algorithm is designed to use as much visual information as possible while blending. The resulting picture then reflects light levels of the original scene more accurately. The thesis describes algorithms and data structures used. A comparison to other known approaches is presented as well.

Problematic aspects of economic value added
ŠKRABÁK, Šimon
This thesis aims to give the reader general overview of Economic value added (later EVA) and is focused on analysis of problematic aspects of EVA. Firstly there are some theoretical materials regarding EVA following the analysis of chosen company. In the end there is a summary of the analysis. In the first part there are theoretical materials from home and foreign authors describing the problematic of EVA together with the formulas used in the second part. The second part is the analysis of the chosen company. Building on the theoretical materials in the first part author adjust the accounting data, calculate the EVA for the years of the analysis and compare them with the accounting data in accordance with the goal of the thesis. Then he makes a suggestion for improvement and calculates its benefits. Lastly he makes some examples of problematic aspects of EVA. The thesis ends with summary of the analysis and with the contribution of the author.

The role of the non-profit sector in the mental health care
Panchartková, Veronika ; Čabanová, Bohumila (advisor) ; Kružík, Lubomír (referee)
This diploma thesis called "The role of the nonprofit sector in the mental health care" deals with problems expressed in the context of nongovernmental organizations that are regarded as a significant stakeholder very important actors in the issue of mental disease. Besides the state that creates predominantly political conception concerning mental health and also mostly ensures some constituents of mental health care (i.e. in the psychiatric asylums) there is also nonprofit sector playing an important role. We can observe its importance on the level of creation of the new mental health conceptions as well as on the level of response to the continuing process of deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care manifested in wider approach to mental disease and moreover its services with which the nonprofit sector completes and sometimes substitutes the role of the state. This thesis firstly deals with the mental disease as the integral part of the complex state of health of each of us, which importance is often underestimated and consequently insufficiently reflected in mental health policy in the ČR (and not only here) which should follow the world wide trend of finding out the negative consequences of mental diseases. After grounding the nonprofit sector in social and legal frame I continue in analyzing and...

Vácha, Miroslav ; Weinzettl, Vladimír (advisor) ; Piffl, Vojtěch (referee)
Title: Detection systems for measurements of high-temperature plasma radiation on the COMPASS tokamak by fast bolometers and soft X-ray detectors Author: Miroslav Vácha Department: Institute of Particle and Nuclear Physics Supervisor: Mgr. Vladimír Weinzettl, Ph.D., Institute of Plasma Physics AS CR, v.v.i. Supervisor's e-mail address: vwei@ipp.cas.cz Abstract: Multi-channel spectroscopic diagnostics on the COMPASS tokamak com- prising AXUV-based bolometers, soft X-ray (SXR) and visible light detectors will cover a wide spectral range of the core and edge plasma emission, aiming to realize a fast tomography at microsecond time scales. This thesis reports on a development of the bolometric and SXR diagnostics. First, procedures of the detector selection and their tests are described. There the design and tests of the special complex port plug, com- bining both detection systems, taken into account a strongly limited available space, a heat protection and a shielding during a cleaning glow discharge, is also summarized. Development of new electronic amplifiers and their connection with the data acquisition system is documented. In the last chapters, basic methods for analysis of data collected using these diagnostic systems are introduced. Keywords: tokamak, plasma radiation, photodiode, tomography

Czech and french reception of novels The Joke and Identity by Milan Kundera
Hašková, Barbora ; Janoušek, Pavel (advisor) ; Peterka, Josef (referee)
Thesis entitled Czech and french reception of novels The Joke and Identity from Milan Kundera inquire into critical acceptance of czech written novel The Joke from 1967 and french written novel Identity from 1997. In sub-section about czech reception process of Kundera's first novel The Joke recensions are presented by chapters of the most accentuated characteristics given to the the book by the reviewers. Chapters are followed 76 by brief summary. In following chapter about francophonie reception most significant responses from french literary reviewers are introduced with emphasis on dissimilarities in perception in comparison to czech literary reviewers. On the contrary, the second part of thesis first presents most remarkable francophonie reviews of french written novel Identity again followed by chapters of the most accentuated characteristics given to the the book in czech media. Reception process in case of Identity novel is complicated in light of absence of czech translation. Though it illegaly came out on the Internet nine years after french edition, it only invoked series of disputes, often not literary and conversant personality of Milan Kunder rather then art quality of novel.
