Ochrana hlohyně (Pyracantha J. M. Roemer) proti strupovitosti (Venturia inaequalis (Cooke) G. Winter)
Fraňková, Jana
Firethorns are usually planted in parks and gardens as an ornamental shrubs or hedges. Infestation of fruits by fungus V. inaequalis significantly decreases their aesthetic value and the fruits also lose atractivity. Venturia inaqualis is the most important pathogene of firethorn (Pyracantha coccinea M. J. Roemer). The aim of diploma thesis was to determine the options of firethorn scab regulation, to monitor and evaluate the frequency and intensity of pathogen occurrence on two sites (Šitbořice and Brno-Černá Pole), and to evaluate the efficiency of three fungicides with different mechanisms of action. It was proven a statistically significant influence of site on fruits infestation and also the influence of site on infestation of levels of shrub, from which the fruits were gathered. The least infested fruits were gathered from the top level of shrub. Highest efficiency on causative agent of firethorn scab was proved by fungicide Zato 50 WG, with the active substance trifloxystrobin (500 g/kg) and by fungicide Talent, with the active substance myclobutanil (200 g/l).

Demand functions as an econometric model
Horáček, Jan ; Pánková, Václava (advisor) ; Křepelová, Marika (referee)
Topic of this bachelor thesis explores influence of monetary policy and GDP on aggregate demand and differences between USA, Germany and Czech Republic. It uses annual and quarterly data since 1995 and for USA since 1985. The work proves influence of inflation and interest rates on this demand. There is significantly lower influence on Germany and Czech Republic then on USA because these European central banks have more strict monetary policy then FED. Second explored aspect is influence of GDP. It was proved that GDP influences aggregate demand in each country differently. It is partly due to transformation of Czech Republic and East Germany from socialistic system to free market economy and partly due to size and international economic integration.

Physical-chemical property characterisation of thin reflective layers on silicon substrates
Rozsívalová, Zdeňka ; Studýnka, Jan (referee) ; Krčma, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with surface analysis and characterization of optical features of thin films created by hexamethyldisiloxane (HMDSO) plasma polymerization on silicon wafers. The RF plasma industrial deposition equipment was used for the thin layers formation. These thin films serve as protective coatings on the reflective layer in the car light or solar panels. Theoretic part gives basic information about plasma, its occurrence, features, diagnostics and applications. Thin layers, their production and characterization are discussed here, too. Theoretic description of monomer material (including the group of other organosilicones) is also presented here. The FTIR spectroscopy and elipsometry are mentioned as the main methods for thin films characterisation. Because material during its practical use degrades due to external conditions, the influence of them on the thin layer properties is studied using the accelerated aging of created films. Industrial deposition chamber AluMet 1800V made by Leybold Optics, Ltd. installed in Zlin Precision company was used for the thin films production. Thin films were created under different conditions that were selelected near to the real conditions used in technology. Various applied powers (2-5 kW) were used for the deposition under different monomer flows. Further, the influence of oxygen addition on the created film properties was investigated. The deposition process was monitored by optical emission spectroscopy. The spectrometer Jobin Yvon Triax 320 with CCD detector was used. The selected part from every samples set was exposed by UV radiation (48 hours at radiation density of 0.68 W/m2 at 340 nm) to simulate the probable conditions during the layers real use. The surface properties were investigated by measurement of reflected light spectral intensity in the visible range at different angles. The angle between incident and reflected beam was varied in the interval of 40 - 150° with 10° step. The influence of sample preparation conditions as well as their aging effect was studied at the selected angles. Spectral reflectance doesn´t depend significantly on applied discharge power and oxygen addition. The significant shift of reflectance into the red part of spectrum was observed at UV exposed samples more or less independently on the applied discharge power of monomer flow rate. Addition of oxygen during the deposition suppresses this effec significantly. Characterization of thin layer structure was done by FTIR spectroscopy. No significant changes were observed in the structure at different discharge powers of monomer flow rates except total absorption intensities that are proportional to the layr thickness. The oxygen addition, of course, changes the structure significantly. These results are only preliminary because the layers were very thin (deposition conditions were near to the common process standard) and thus the signal/noise ratio was relatively low.

Counterfeiting and altering of money
Barák, Michal ; Gřivna, Tomáš (advisor) ; Herczeg, Jiří (referee)
in English This thesis deals with the issue of counterfeiting, in terms of both criminal and criminological perspective. Its opening is devoted to the money, especially to their historical development. The following chapter, number three, continuously moves to the description of the most widely used security features of money, especially of banknotes. Although these security features are not the subject of my thesis, this part can look quite dominant. However, I am convinced that the technical protection of money plays the pivotal role it the whole issue, so I gave them enough space at the beginning of work. The following section deals with the valid legislation and focuses primarily on the enumeration and analysis of the actus reaus under the Criminal Code. In my opinion, the focus only on criminal legislation is inadequate, and therefore I consider it is necessary to mention also other legislation which is significantly related, ie Act No. 136/2011 Coll., on the circulation of banknotes and coins and amending Act No. 6/ 1993 Coll. on the Czech National Bank, as amended, which contains mainly the Czech National Bank's role in the issues mentioned above and responsibilities of defined group of persons handling the money suspected of counterfeiting. The procedure of the Police of the Czech Republic...

Health condi on of the oaks on the dams selected ponds in the Třeboň
Rutová, Věra ; Čížková, Dana (advisor) ; Bohuslav, Bohuslav (referee)
The subject of this final work is focused to find out oak embankment vegetation state of health on the banks of selected Trebonsko lakes , specifically Opatovice lake, Rozumberk lake, Stary Vdovec lake, Velka Tisa lake and Vysehrad lake , regard to the leaves of tree tops, mechanical damages and occurrence of pathogenic fungus (galls). Results were compared with growth condition published in previous final reports from years between 1995 and 1999. All conclusions from those years were drawn from the research study of Charles´ University and Czech Agricultural University staffers in cooperation with MZP, CHKO Trebonsko, Treeproject Ceske Budejovice, National Fishing Company Trebon and Mikrochema Ceske Budejovice. The goal of that project was integrated protection of broadleaf woody plants, directed to reduce impact of harmful biotic agents. Particularly, originators of trichomycosis diseases in the South Bohemia region. All data needed to finalize the bachelor thesis were collected from May till October 2015. Documentation stock photos and images of embankments, vegetation and single oak trees and their damages or presence of pathogenic fungus (galls) was created at the same time in 2015. Results of this research were summarized in comparative charts and tables. In conclusion, I could make a statement of oak growth health improvement and highlighted weaknesses of each individual growth.

The development of central bank's activity in Czech republic since 1989
Divíšková, Lenka ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Koblovský, Petr (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to analyse central bank's status progress in Czech Republic and its functioning with focus on crucial changes in Czech financial framework since 1989. Reason I chose this topic was that we currently find ourselves in financial and economic crisis, behind which occurrence are logically activities of central banks. Theoretical part is aiming to describe general theory of central banking, determination of banking system and scope, functions and instruments of the central bank. Analytical part is going to describe legislative scope of activities of the Czech central bank since 1989 until now at first. Afterwards, I am going to analyse activities' progress of the central bank in two basic areas, i. e. monetary policy and supervision.

The exchange rate system and the exchange rate development of the Kazakh tenge
Pak, Irina ; Mandel, Martin (advisor) ; Durčáková, Jaroslava (referee)
In my bachelor thesis we consider the exchange rate system in Kazakhstan and mainly deal with the basic historical stages of the exchange rate development. In this paper we make balance of payments analysis and empirical analysis of the exchange rate development in the country during 1993 - 2015. Our analysis describes the dependence of the nominal effective and the bilateral exchange rates KZT/USD on the balance of payments, the inflation rate, the gross domestic product and oil price. Empirical analysis, based on correlation and regression analysis, confirms our theoretical hypotheses. Because exchange rate depends on oil price development, tenge can be included among so-called commodity currencies. Also we confirm the expected relationships between the balance of payments, domestic inflation, gross domestic product and the exchange rate. In the last part of my work, we describe the influence of the exchange rate development on the national economy. In this thesis, we take into consideration the main goals of the central bank, current issues and its actions in order to prevent the occurrence of new economic crises.

The causes of the housing and financial crisis in the USA
Stelzerová, Tereza ; Mandel, Martin (advisor)
This study is focused on the causes of financial crises in the United States of America starting in 2007. There is mentioned a number of influences that had impact on this disfavourable economic development in this study. In the first part, there is mentioned the housing policy and government measures in providing mortgages. Further, there is explained the development of the banking system -- with the Federal Reserve System on one hand and commercial banks on the other. Their parts in this crises are explained in the second chapter, alongside with modern trends on financial markets. One of those trends was occurrence of new kinds of securities -- eg. CDO which is characterized. Rating agencies were also subjects which business behavior was one of the causes of this crises burst. In this study there is also captured simple line-out of events on the interbank market, when the crises became obvious. Last part is dedicated to comparison with other crisis of the modern history, especially the Great Depression.

World banking crises
Mirazčievová, Michaela ; Půlpánová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Paholok, Igor (referee)
The purpose of this thesis is to offer a contemporary overlook on the widely discussed and problematic topic of bankong crises. This analysis gives a list of banking crises which have ocurred since the 90s. up to now, their causes and definitions, and explains some important macro- and microeconomic reasons for their occurrence. It also shows how current economic theory describes the causes and nature of financial instability, with emphasis on its real effects and high economic, as well as social costs. Based on these findings, this paper offers possible resolutions of problems of the financial system and methods of its stabilization with the aim to prevent future crises. A separate chapter is dedicated to the crises in Argentina 2001, the nordic countries in the late 80s/early 90s, and the Czech republic during its transition period.
