Homelessness – Res Communes (Local Housing Policy Anticipation)

Summary
The thesis is dedicated to solving the problem of homelessness, from the vantage point of synergy of social policy tools, mainly the housing policy. The author s aim has been to find out what methods are adopted to prevent and solve homelessness in Prague, whether the steps taken by the state or other subjects active in the capital provide help to the group of the socially excluded individuals in the process of their reintegration into the society of people with homes.
The theoretical part deals with the crisis of the welfare state concept, based on solidarity of the wealthier classes with the socially deprived groups. After examining expert sources, the accent is put on definition of social policy participants on the part of the state and other subjects that are instrumental in integration of persons temporarily or permanently excluded from the consumption of the fundamental social value,housing. Last but not least, this work defines the phenomenon of homelessness in its key aspects: in the history of its emergence and causes, its perception by the public, typology of homeless persons, and in the problem with a qualified estimate of the number of the affected.
The practical part is dedicated to a closer examination of the social exclusion of inhabitants in the interaction with the responsible persons from the ranks of social workers, curators, housing authority clerks, providing expert help to the socially deprived groups among Prague inhabitants. This research, done in the form of interviews, is completed by a questionnaire survey carried out directly with the people concerned the homeless. The contribution of this work consists in this combination of both perspectives, the basis of which is knowledge of the homeless environment, acquired via the author s voluntary work for a lowthreshold treatment program center Naděje in Prague.

Regional gastronomy as the part of regional development activities viewed by young generation (the case of one vocational hotel management school)

Work first approach a literary review the question of linking regional development and rural and regional food concept (or. As well as other alternative food chains). On this basis, the survey conducted among the students selected hotel schools. Since it is expected that graduates of schools of this type will work in restaurants, work will investigate their relationship to regional foodstuffs which may affect the future direction of the business in which they work, but also the actual development of the region where they operate. As a supplementary data collection technique will be used, structured interviews, which should show how the school works with his students in relation to regional food. After collecting and processing the results of the statistical program, will be followed by their analysis and interpretation, which should result in conclusions and recommendations to the school (learning how to navigate that its outputs were beneficial to the school (learning how to navigate that its outputs are beneficial to region in which the school is located).

Relations between production capabilities and economy of Charolais cattle breeding on selected farm

The aim of the dissertation is evaluation of relation between utility properties and economics of breeding cattle - breed Charolais at the chosen farm. Especially breeding conditions and zootechnical measures with their effects on the economic results in years 2009 - 2014.
There is in the literatury searches described the principle of breeding cattle and its economic conditions in the Czech Republic. Further history, characteristic of the breed and its breeding standard. There is chracterized the current state and expansion of the breed in the Czech Republic and France, the country of origin. The way of the checking the utility and the monitoring of decisive utility properties is written here.
The work was done in the farm Komensko. The farm is focused on crop production with 696ha and breeding cows without a market production of milk with 102ha meadows and pastures. There is currently bred 76 pieces in the basic herd. The herd is before completion of the transmission crossbreeding owing to repeatedly mating of bulls Charolais. The achieved results of the reproduction are good thanks to replacing insemination natural breeding. Reserves were found in growth capabilities of calves, when monitoring weights on the 120th, 210th and 365th day were lagging behind the average in the Czech Republic and France.
The achieved sales display an increasing trend, but are constrained by the expansion of basic herd and accelerated eliminate of cows with participation milk breed.
The farm shows a profit during the monitoring period. The farm had the highest profit in 2014 and it was 431 823.- CZK. By contrast the farm had the lowest profit in 2010 with the result 18 035.- CZK. Generally we can say the farm had the highest profits in the last free years. That happened because of the increasing revenues from the sold animals and higher income from the subsidies.
Promise for the future is to finish the transitional process and to allow selling the breeding material instead of the cattle for a much better price.

A leisure educational program for seniors in selected organization

The bachelor's thesis Leisure educational programme for seniors in selected organization is focused on creation of new educational programme for given segment. The theoretical part takes a deal with important concepts of the field of older adults education. It defines senior at first, then ageing process and its specific signs, leisure time and lifestyle. Education of seniors is described at the end of the theoretical part. In the practical part there are analysis of the supply of the existing leisure educational projects or programmes for seniors and questionnaire exploration of group of seniors. The results are summarized in tables with comments. The main part of the practical part is the new leisure educational programme on the basis of the questionnaire and analysis.

Selection and adaptation of employees in the chosen organization

Bachelor thesis: Selection and adaptation of employees in an organization, analyzes methods of selection and ways of adaptation of new employees at the Czech Post, s. e. The theoretical part defines terms of human resources management, the main emphasis was placed on characteristics of personal activities that implements human resources department, particularly on the selection and adaptation of new workers. On the beginning of the practical part was presented by the selected organization to which is the thesis focused Czech Post s. e. and described the activities and services which the organization provides. The main aim of this thesis was based on an analysis of selected HR activities to propose their own recommendations for possible improvements and streamlinings electing new employees and accelerate their successful adaptation in an organization. Methods which were used to achieve this objective was an individual interview with an expert from the Department of Management human resources, as well as interviews with the new staff in the adaptation process. Based on the evaluation's interviews offered its own recommendations to improve the process of adaptation.

Pupils Opinions about Selected Area of Risky Behaviour at Secondary Vocational Schools

The aim of the thesis "Pupils opinions about selected area of risky behaviour at secondary vocational schools" is to ascertain the views of pupils at secondary vocational schools tobacco use and the deficiencies found propose appropriate changes in the primary prevention program.
The theoretical part was prepared on the basis of the findings from available literature, mainly targeting high-risk behavior - namely smoking, addiction and prevention. The practical part was prepared on the basis of outputs of quantitative and qualitative investigation. The quantitative survey was carried out through a questionnaire surfy. Qualitative survey used interviews with prevention methodology to three selected secondary vocational schools.
Based on these findings it was recommended active involvement of pupils in prevention activities in education, raise awareness about the harmful effects of smoking and urge compliance with the ban on smoking in the school building and its immediate vicinity.

Inventory of woody plants in part area of Červený vrch in Prague and elaboration of the digital map of this selected area

In my bachelor thesis I'm dealing with inventory of part area of Red Hill in Prague. Inventory of this part area was carried out according to Machovec (1982). Further I made digital map of this part area and created photographs of all species.
In the literature search I'm dealing with function of greenery in urban environment, what effect it has on humans and their lives, importance of greenery and aesthetics.
The next chapter of my bachelor thesis is dedicated to part area of Red Hill in terms of history and progression of this part area, than continue with soil and climate conditions.
Further I'm delaing with methods and in which way are these species inventorized. I'm describing each measurement which are crucial for my thesis. Whole inventory was created by the system described in Machovec (1982). Further I made table inventory on the base of my measurement, which I divided by category to deciduous trees, conifers and evergreen shrubs, deciduous shrubs and perennials. I entered all the information in to the program AutoCAD and created digital map of part area of Red Hill. Photodocumentation was made for each of the species.
According to my measurements 1027 trees and perennials are located on the part area of Red Hill. Of which is 206 deciduos trees, 145 conifers and evergreen shrubs, 653 deciduous shrubs. Total amount of perennials is 23. The most common deciduous tree is Aesculus hippocastanum. The most frequent conifer is Picea abies and the most common deciduous shrub is Syringa vulgaris. The most frequent tree of part area Red Hill is Syringa vulgaris.
Furthermore according to my measurements I found out that the most common age category is from 20 to 40 years old and the most frequent handscaping value of three. From all these informations I made graphs which are visible in the next chapters of my thesis.

Possibilities of the use of peracetic acid in therapy of grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella)

The aim of the present study was to assess an influence of two different therapeutical concentrations of peracetic acid on selected haematological and biochemical parameters in grass carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella). Fish were radomly distributed to aquaria and exposed to concentrations of 0 mg.l-1 PAA (control group), 1.0 mg.l-1 PAA (P1 group), 3.0 mg.l-1 PAA (P2 group). Almost total mortality of fish was observed in the concentration 3.0 mg.l-1 PAA during the treatment comparing with the P1 group and untreated control where no mortality was observed. After the end of the experimental exposure of fish to peracetic acid, the sampling of blood has been realised. The samples of the blood were examined in order to determine haematological and biochemical parameters. Consequently, there were no significant differences (p<0.05) in a haematological profile of fish exposed to concentration of 1.0 mg.l-1 PAA. Goblet cells count and size have risen, that caused exposure of fish to peracetic acid. In the biochemical profile of fish, significant changes (p<0.01) in three parameters were found after exposure of fish to peracetic acid in concentration 1.0 mg.l-1. Changed parameters were: aspartate aminotransferase, creatine kinase and lactate dehydrogenase. The changes were moderate and it can be supposed that these changes are reversible. No significant change (p<0.05) in haematological parameters points out to the minimum negative influence of recommended therapeutical concntration (1.0 mg.l-1 PAA) to the health of C. idella.

The aim of this thesis was to bring issues to the topic of communication in a selected organization , focusing on communication in business and seeking to improve the design issues. In the literary section is clarification and extension of the concept of communication. The practical part was focused on familiarization with the company , its divisions, where they are heading and how communication takes place.
