Printed journalism in Third Czechoslovak Republic

Bachelor thesis is focused on the printed journalism in Third Czechoslovak Republic. Topic of the thesis is studied in three fundamental fields - in institutional, associational and in opinion of journalists. Thesis is divided into seven main chapters. The first one describes and contextualizes specific period of Third Czechoslovak Republic including period view of the printed journalism and summary of main printed newspapers and magazines. The second part focuses on role of ministry of information, which was responsible for administration of the printed journalism, including her legislative determination. It is going to be research the ration of newsprint for publishing house and analysis of censorship of content in the press in this chapter. The associational life of Czech journalists describes the third part, which deals with Union of Czech Journalists (constitution and activity of organization and carrying out retribution within journalists).The fourth chapter characterises, how communist takeover in February 1948 affected the printed journalism. Last three parts analyse opinions of printed journalism of weekly magazines of Czechoslovak People's Party Obzory and Vývoj and weekly magazine Dnešek, which following on magazine Přítomnost, which was published during the First Czechoslovak Republic....
