Lifestyle evaluation of students of Public health protection

This thesis summarizes theoretical findings in several fields of the lifestyle. It contains basic information about nutrition, positive effects of reasonable physical activity and it points to negative consequences of smoking and alcohol consumption, effects of stress and insufficient sleep. The research part of the thesis maps the lifestyle of students in the specialization Public health protection at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies at University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. It has turned out that the students eat regularly but they do not have enough fruit and vegetables in their diet and only a small percentage of them practice regular physical activities. 52 % of the respondents are happy with their own lifestyle. When asked whether they believe that their professional specialization has affected their lifestyle, 38 % answered positively. The results of the thesis indicate how the students of Public health protection respect the principles of healthy lifestyle and whether they are content with their lifestyle.

Importance of art therapy for children at Klokánek

Presented thesis is divided into theoretical and empirical part. Because of theme of this thesis the first part of theoretical part is concentrated on the importance of the family for child´s psychic developement. In this part is characterised also a problematic of children and adolescents who grow up in a foster care. As the practical part of the thesis mention children in institution type Klokánek, which is mostly for children at risk of maltreatment, in theoretical part is described a problematic of syndrom CAN and psychic deprivation. In last part of theoretical part is described the symptomes of syndrom CAN and psychic deprivation in an art production of children. This section devote to art therapy with children who have experienced trauma, and describe also some art therapy methods for working with this group of children. The theoretical part is concluded by describing the so-called "Rožnov interpretative art therapy" which on the author of presented thesis based her art therapeutic work in Klokánek. In the empirical part of thesis the author descrieb her art therapeutic work with children in Klokánek. Paintings of children are evaluated according to "Rožnov" approach in art therapy, and also the proposed Cognet assessment form how evaluate child´s art work is used. Due to results the author of this thesis evaluate the art therapy very important as a supporting type of therapy in Klokánek and beneficial as complementary tool for psycho-diagnostics.

Secondary prevention in case of patients with cardiovascular disease

Despite all the achievements and progress of contemporary science and practice, the cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death in industrialized countries, including the Czech Republic. Furthermore cardiovascular diseases in the Czech Republic are one of the most frequent causes of adult morbidity and disability. Since cardiovascular diseases are very wide and comprehensive subject, it is beyond the scale of this work to include all diseases of the heart and blood vessels. Therefore, in this work we have only focused on certain diseases. From the long list of cardiovascular disease, we chose atherosclerosis, hypertension, coronary artery disease and arrhythmias. We have also focused on different cardiology methods, prevention of risk factors of cardiovascular diseases, role of the nurses in this field and nurse-patient relationship. We have set three main goals for this hypothesis. The first objective was to explore the ongoing secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. The second objective was to focus on involvement of nurses in secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease. The third and last objective was to determine how patients with cardiovascular disease comply with preventive measures. The research and patients' interviews were used to obtain the needed data to process the empirical part of this proposal. The research consisted of two parts. The first part consisted of 8 nurses working with general practitioners for adults or internal clinic in the Region. The second part consisted of eight patients who are treated for cardiovascular disease. Patients came from the Highlands and the South Region. Analysis of the data from the research was created 6 categories of the results of interviews with general nurses. Categories: Importance of secondary prevention, Cardiovascular risk factors, Role of the nurse in secondary prevention, Education as secondary prevention, Adherence to preventive measures and Evaluation preventive care. Also was created 6 categories of patients. Category Changing lifestyles, Preventive measures, Involvement sisters to prevent cardiovascular disease, Motivation, Visiting of specialists, Assessment of nurses. Our aim was to focus on the secondary prevention of cardiovascular diseases, study the topic, talk on the subject with selected patients, analyze the information and create a information booklet for patients with cardiovascular disease.

The level of knowledge about health issues for students at the secondary technical school

This master thesis deals with finding level of knowledge about healthy lifestyle and evaluating eating habits among adolescent boys studying at technical colleges. The work consists of two main parts, the theoretical and the research (practical). The theoretical part is focused on defining the major concepts and characteristics of adolescence, the teaching health education at secondary schools and recommendations in terms of movement and supplements to adolescent age. The research part focuses on the evaluation of knowledge regarding the health and eating habits of the above sample. The results were compared with those already available findings from previous studies. It was managed to collect 134 completed tests of knowledge regarding to health and physical activity and their associated questionnaires about dietary habits. Based on the results of the knowledge test, it was found that the average results reached zone below average. Furthermore, on the basis of evaluation of research assumptions, it was found that higher health knowledge does not affect the optimal body weight. Education in the field of eating disorders is probably insufficient. As apparent from certain results, health education should always find its place in the curriculum so that pupils receive a sufficient amount of information to be encouraging to find another informations by themselves on their own initiative.

Sexuality and sexual behaviour in patients with bulimia neurosa

The authors deal with Sexual Behavior in Eating Disorders, especially in patiens with Bulimia Nervosa. In patiens with Eating Disorders we observe distortion of body image and negative affeetive evaluation of one's own body and personality, like a eommon symptoms. We assumed, the symptoms may influenee bulimie patienť s sexuality and sexual behavior. On the other side, we assumed the speeifie psyehosexual development, sexual experienees in ehildhood and personality features in bulimie patients ean also be a reason of Eating Disorder. Our question is: What is the sexuality and sexual behavior in bulimie patiens? We present our researeh on women, who are nowadays treated for Bulimia Nervosa. We speeially foeus on Coital Debut, Masturbation, Sexual Aetivities with a Sexual Partner, Sexual Exeitement, Sexual Disorders, Number of Sexual Partners, Sexual Orientation and Sexual Satisfaetion. In eomparison to normal ezeeh population in age 18-29 years, we observe these differenees. Patients have had a first relationship at higher age, they also have had a higher number of relatonships and higher number of sexual partners. Specifické poruchy učení v podmínkách středních škol

This bachelor thesis deals with secondary school students awareness of specific learning disabilities. The aim of the theoretical part is to describe characteristic of specific learning disabilities, theirs causes and classifications. The thesis further explains symptoms of particular disabilities and theirs diagnosis. Upbringing and education of children with specific learning disabilities in adolescence age will be mentioned in this work. Method used for theoretical part is study of literature, formation of extracts and theirs analysis, synthesis and comparison. The aim of the practical part is evaluating the knowledge of secondary school students about learning disabilities and how are students with these disabilities marked by their teachers and perceived by their classmates. Questionnaires will be used for this purpose, respondents will be students of preselected secondary schools. Data obtained by questionnaire survey will be analyzed and evaluated by simple statistical methods. Recommendations will be formulated based on this analysis.

Valuation of interpersonal traits of players of computer games

The study is focused on interpersonal traits of players of computer games in adolescence. A total 76 players who were suitable for two criterions: a) duration of playing computer games per week (minimum 7 hours), b) duration of interest in computer games (minimum:1 year) was investigated. The Interpersonal Check List (ICL) was used. Differences between players and non-players and differences between players on level of obvious behaviour and ideal self was examined. Significant dissimilarities were discovered.

Health at work is characterized as physical, mental and social well-being at work. Health status of workers is the result of the impact of work andextracurricular and personal disposition. This fact requires a multidisciplinaryapproach and a comprehensive evaluation occupational exposure and lifestyle factors and other factors. In my bachelor thesis Stress in a life of a child - relaxation techniques and a possible use of swimming pool therapy while coping with the stressful situation the child's life I am describing the problem with stress in a life of a child and the possibility how to solve the problem using relaxation techniques, particularly swimming pool therapy. In more detail I describe the stress in general, its component parts, the period of stress, stressful factors, which the most of the children and youth are facing up during their adolescence or which they might be facing up, but also stress, which is caused by traumatic experience. I have focused on the prevention of the stress of children and on the use of techniques, which help to cope with these situations. The practical part of my bachelor thesis is devoted to the introduction of the method called swimming pool therapy and to the confirmation or negation of the hypothesis, that the relaxation technique - the swimming pool therapy - has according to the internal opinion of their parents an impact on coping with stressful situation in a child's life, which I have gathered from the research (questionnaire). The result of the research I describe by the help of verbal evaluation and objective graphs.
