 Title: Comparison of coordination and condition abilities of young karate youth and the other school youth.  Goals: To compare level of coordination and condition abilities by three groups of probands from the same place of a small town, where the first group regularly attends Kyokushinkai trainings, the second group regularly sports and the third group does not any sport in any sport club.  Methods: The whole group was divided into 3 subgroups: sportsmen, who have trained fullcontact karate - school of Kyoukushinkai, sportsmen, who do actively any sport (football, floorball, table tennis, et.) and youth, who do not any organized sport activity. I measure the motory efficiency by the UNIFITTTEST (6-60) and level of coordination abilities by project of Kohoutek et. (2005).  Results: It was proved that regular sport activity has a positive influence to a condition and coordination ability. Also it was proved that youth practicing regular trainings of martial arts of Kyokushinkai karate have higher level of tested motory abilities than their school mates who practice other organized sport. It is obvious that karate training and other sport activities have a positive influence to a motory ability level. I consider karate training to be a sport which develops complexly coordition and condition...

Research plasticity of foundry sands
Macků, Martin ; Křístek, Jiří (referee) ; Rusín, Karel (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was to develop a comprehensive methodology for evaluating the plasticity of molding sand. This study was focused on four types of mixtures that are used in the foundry industry. For the evaluation of plasticity was important to provide an indicator of the deformation ability, calculation of deformation and logarithmic transformation for compression. Plasticity methodology was applied in this work only on the pressure effect. Studies of this issue can have a great influence on the production of correct forms due to the ability to withstand tension without breaking form.

Strategic analysis of the company
Kostrova, Anastasia ; Tyll, Ladislav (advisor) ; Mikovcová, Hana (referee)
Today we are living in a period of unstable economical and political environment. Under these conditions, the ability to adapt to new opportunities, threats and use effectively resources of a company becomes essential. Strategic analysis is a process of developing strategy for a company by understanding of the business and the environment in which it operates. It's a process of defining a company's strategy, direction and goals. The purpose of this paper is to carry out strategic analysis of JSC "Volzhsky Abrasive Works". Strategic analysis of the works consist of various tools : such as investigation, forecasting, analyzing, planning. It includes the following analysis tools : PEST analysis, Porter's five forces a competitor analysis, VRIO and SWOT analysis. Tools used in strategic analysis measure a business's market, competitive position, values, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the company. Strategic analysis provides managers a clear view of the company's business operations, their goals, objectives and how they achieve their targets.

STRAIN ENGINEERING OF THE ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE OF 2D MATERIALS
del Corro, Elena ; Peňa-Alvarez, M. ; Morales-García, A. ; Bouša, Milan ; Řáhová, Jaroslava ; Kavan, Ladislav ; Kalbáč, Martin ; Frank, Otakar
The research on graphene has attracted much attention since its first successful preparation in 2004. It possesses many unique properties, such as an extreme stiffness and strength, high electron mobility, ballistic transport even at room temperature, superior thermal conductivity and many others. The affection for graphene was followed swiftly by a keen interest in other two dimensional materials like transition metal dichalcogenides. As has been predicted and in part proven experimentally, the electronic properties of these materials can be modified by various means. The most common ones include covalent or non-covalent chemistry, electrochemical, gate or atomic doping, or quantum confinement. None of these methods has proven universal enough in terms of the devices' characteristics or scalability. However, another approach is known mechanical strain/stress, but experiments in that direction are scarce, in spite of their high promises.\nThe primary challenge consists in the understanding of the mechanical properties of 2D materials and in the ability to quantify the lattice deformation. Several techniques can be then used to apply strain to the specimens and thus to induce changes in their electronic structure. We will review their basic concepts and some of the examples so far documented experimentally and/or theoretically.

Crosstalk of integrin and mTOR signaling
Teglová, Lucie ; Libus, Jiří (referee) ; Rösel, Daniel (advisor)
iv Abstract Crosstalk of integrin and mTOR signalling is an essential process that monitors cellular interaction with extracellular matrix and transmits these inputs to cell growth signalling. Although adhesion status of the cell monitored by integrin signalling is clearly important for regulation of cellular growth, a little is known about the crosstalk of integrin and mTOR signalling. In this study, we employed two different approaches to describe and elucidate character of this crosstalk. p130Cas is an adaptor protein phosphorylated by Src kinase and focal adhesion kinase upon integrin ligand binding and implicated in cell adhesion, motility and survival in both Src-transformed and untransformed cells. Recently, p130Cas was also described in cellular pathology, mainly by its ability to stimulate cell invasion and metastasis. In this study, we described that p130Cas affects mTOR signalling in Src-transformed cells. Substrate domain of p130Cas was found to be indispensable for this effect and is also responsible for serum-induced activation of mTOR signalling. In addition, we prepared cell lines overexpressing various Rheb protein versions and characterized them in context of mTOR signalling, integrin signalling and cell cycle progression. Interestingly, a cell line overexpressing constitutively active...
