The bachelor thesis deals with the issue and utilisation of rainwater. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of general rainwater distribution, the formation of individual rainfall - its composition, quality, surface run-off, individual possibilities of water purification, accumulation and infiltration. The ways of using rainwater in households and gardens are also described in thesis. The practical part deals with the use of rainwater around a family house in the specific location. The area is located in the village called Moravske Krizanky in Vysočina region. In conclusion, a complete solution for rainwater accumulation, irrigation and infiltration was developed.

This bachelor thesis is focused on problems of rainwater and their use. The thesis is divided on two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part of the thesis deals with the general distribution of rainwater, from the creation of individual precipitation, their composition and quality, up to their surface runoff. Further, the individual possibilities of their cleaning and subsequent accumulation and soaking are analyzed. Part of the work is also the use of rainwater from the household to the garden. In the second part the specific location for the use of rainwater around a family house is solved. The specific location is situated in the village Voleč in the Pardubice Region. Here is a complete solution accumulation of rainwater, irrigation and soaking.
