Static analysis of the sports hall roof
Meissnerová, Sabina ; Hokeš, Filip (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The final thesis deals with structural analysis of the roofing of the sports hall. Computational model was created in the computational software Dlubal RFEM 6.04 according to the provided documents. The loads were performed in accordance with valid standards and the structure was assessed for the ultimate and serviceability limit state. Manual assessment calculations were compared with the software. The final thesis deals with the manual calculation of internal forces on a curved beam from the self-weight of the structure and the stability of the structure is demonstrated first on a single-sided fixed beam and then on the created spatial model.
The roofing of amphitheatre in Vizovice
Kuchtová, Ludmila ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The scope of this bachelor’s thesis is to design roofing over a natural amphitheater stage in Vizovice. The structure is designed as a variable structure in verison of both steel and timber. Each solution has a different structural composition. The layout is triangular with width of 18 meters and length of 15 meters. The height of the roofing is considered to be 9 meters.
Footbridge
Grussmann, Jan ; Straka, Bohumil (referee) ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with design and complex static assessment of timber roofed footbridge structural system. The calculation part is divided into three main chapters, that are dedicated to determine load impacts on structure, to particular structural and roof members assessment and also to design details of connections. The lower part of structure is formed by flat arched main beams of glued laminated timber, floor beams, stringers and under-deck bracing. The upper part of footbridge is formed by structure of gabled roof and additional bracings. Transversal frames of footbridge copy the shape of arch and they are arranged orthogonally to its axis. They form a radial fan with commom centre in the longitudinal direction. The static scheme of structure is thought as a statically undefinite system thanks to the bedrock surrounding the footbridge.
The footbridge for pedestrians and cyclists in Loštice
Sochorec, Michal ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The Diploma thesis deals with design and static assessment of timber footbridge structural system for pedestrians and cyclist across the Trebuvka river in Lostice on the site of the existing footbridge. Structural system is designed in two alternatives and assessed according to the current standards. Spans of the bridge are 2x18 m and 1x6 m. The main beams are made of glued laminated timber, other parts of the structure are made of timber and steel elements. First alternative is designed as a simple half-through truss beam, second alternative as continuous beam with variable height where the deck is sitting on top of the girders.
