The Mapping Survey of the locality Vilémovice

The subject of this thesis was to make thematical map in scale 1:500 for location in Moravian Karst in Vilémovice. The main task was to measure the location so the topografy, terrain skeleton and mainly the karst formation located there would be captured. The final map will be used by CHKO of Moravian Karst. All of the required standards were used to finish the mapping as well as the table of atributes given by CHKO of Moravian Karst.

The aim of this thesis was to topographic and altitudinal plans karst phenomena tachometric method in the field at the rear Babic Svitavou and copy thematic maps at a scale of 1 : 500th The measurement output is connected to a mandatory reference systems S- JTSK and Bpv . Functional map and a list of coordinates of specific points CHKO will be handed over management of the Moravian Karst.

Mapping Survey of the locality near Vilémovice

The work is about measurement and creation of the purpose map of the location near Vilémovice in the selected scale of 1: 1000. The whole locality belongs to the Moravian Karst PLA. The map is focused on rendering karst phenomena in the area. One of the outputs is a list of karst phenomena coordinates for the PLA. The mapping was followed by the 3rd accuracy class according to ČSN 0134 10.

Measurement is connected to a mandatory reference systems S-JTSK and Bpv. The resulting map area of interest is made at a scale of 1: 500 3rd accuracy class according to CSN 01 3410 and a list of coordinates of specific points of CHKO will be handed management Moravian Karst.

Possibilities of remote geomorphological mapping of dolines in the conditions of the Bohemian Karst

The study of karst areas is important for the inventory of local forms and their subsequent protection. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to create a database and determine the morphometric characteristics of dolines in the protected landscape area of the Czech Karst above DEM 5G and to evaluate the possibilities of remote mapping of these karst forms. The mapping was based on training data from the Moravian Karst, but the morphometry was found to be different from the dolines in the Czech Karst. A total of 74 dolines were found, of which 58 were mapped on DEM 5G and 16 were added from the literature. Average values of morphometric characteristics were found for length 30.34 m, width 18.65 m, depth 2.57 m and circularity 0.663. Half of them show a linear arrangement and an elongated oval shape, which may indicate a continuity with the fractures. The majority of all mapped dolines form clusters on Devonian limestones in the northwestern area of the Bohemian Karst Protected Landscape Area. As a result, two map outputs with possible locations of dolines and a database with morphometric characteristics are available. Tvorba databáze krasových jevů na území ŠLP Křtiny z dat leteckého laserového skenování

This diploma thesis deals with description of the karst and its typical phnenomenons with emphasis on surface figures sinkholes. Further, it dicribes the airborne laser scanning (ALS) technology, data collection and processing procedure and utilization for the puropose of terrain depressions indentification based on the researches and processes of foreign experts. From these available studies, the most suitable methodics is chosen and applied to Digital Elevation Model of 5th generation (DEM 5G) data. The results of this aplication are compared with available sinkholes databases kept in the PLA Moravian Karst office and own terrain research.
