The presented diploma thesis is devoted to the subject of the grabbing of agricultural land for the new construction of a bypass road in the village called Čebín. In the literature review are defined the basic terms and sources of the legal regulation of land grabbing and protection. The focus of the work lies in the analysis of the grabbing of agricultural land for the construction of the Čebín road bypass and its impact on the landscape and biodiversity. In the practical part will be addressed the route of the Čebín road bypass. The data provided by the Administration and maintenance of roads in the South Moravian Region were used in the work. According to the developed results, a comparsion of the creditworthiness of the agricultural land. Furthermore, the road bypass will be evaluated especially from the point of view of the temporal development of land grabbing and its impact on the landscape and the environment. The work is based on spatial plans and transport infrastructure plans. The conclusion of the work brings suggestions de lege ferenda.
Analysis of the effectiveness of the instrument of agricultural land protection I. and II. protection class

Land is the most valuable natural resource, it is a natural part of the national wealth of every country and it is necessary to protect it not only for the present, but especially for the future. One of the major problems that the soil is currently facing is the increase in built-up areas. In my diploma thesis I try to show how agricultural land protection works in the Czech Republic in practice, with emphasis on the soil in I. and II. protection class. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the grounding of agricultural soil protection in legislation and theory and presents examples of good practices of soil protection abroad. In the practical part, the thesis`s topic and defined issues are verified in practice. A qualitative method is used for that, in particular an in-depth analysis of semi- structured interviews with participants from the public sector. The quality of soil intended for the housing development is the topic of diploma thesis. Frequently, the local soil of the highest quality is built on. For the purpose of this thesis there were 5 model areas defined: these are the areas of Roudnice, Říčany, Slaný, Vlašim, and Kolín. The thesis describes the quality of soil which is built on in these areas. The extent of housing development in these areas is specified on the basis of landscape plans. As such, it is possible to determine the quality of soil intended for the future housing development. Moreover, the thesis deals with the legislative protection of soil. This thesis deals with the development of the appropriation of land during different time periods in the area of Kopřivnice. Using the method of literature research, the concepts and suburbanization problematics in the Czech Republic and in the world were defined. The results were found by analyzing the individual details using data within three time horizons and evaluated by comparison. Furthermore, strategic, planning and implementation documentation in the area were analyzed. Then the form and extent of occupation in the area was evaluated based on the data. Finally, further possible development of the area was proposed with the application ArcMap with regard to the protection of the soil fund.

This diploma thesis deals with issue of foreign direct investment (FDI) into agrarian sector in developing countries with focus on the concept of food security and right to food. Initial theoretical part of this paper provides a discussion of its core concepts: the food security, the right to food as well as FDI with related issues. The theoretical analysis is subsequently applied to the context of Zambia. Author's engagement in field research is presented with two case studies which address the resultant effects of FDI in land on the community level in Zambia.
