Selected Works of Olga Černá in Leisure Education for Reading

The thesis deals with the use of selected works of the contemporary Czech author Olga Černá in leisure education for reading. The work contains theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part presents the biography of the main author of the Baobab publishing house, Olga Černá and her literary work. The author's preferred literary genre, target group and selected methods of working with text, which are used in the practical part, are also described. The second part also contains worksheets with examples of excerpts from selected works by the author, their verification in practice and reflection.
Prevention of dental caries in younger school children in the district Tábor

Bachelor thesis processes topic about the prevention of dental caries in schoolchildren of district Tábor. Bachelor thesis is divided into two part. In teoretical part will be granted the general informativeness about the origins of dental caries and tooth anatomy. Also will be set oíut measures to prevent tooth decay and familiarization with preventive programmes for children. The aim of practical part will analyse thw level of parent knowlege on prevention and awareness of causes dental caries and the possibilities for preventive action. I´m getting information throught questionnaires. The investigation showed that parents should pay more attention to the dental hygiene of their children.
Relationship between forced vital capacity and hand grip strength in children

Title: Relationship between forced vital capacity and hand grip strength in children Objectives: One of goals of this thesis is to find out how strong is the connection between the strength of a children's handgrip and the FVC. Another aim is to ascertain what is the age limit to use a handgrip examination to estimate the children's FVC. The last goal is to determine whether a body height, weight and age of a child are crucial to evaluate the handgrip and the FVC. Methods: First part of this thesis is a research and tries to summarize basic information about an issue of dynamometry, spirometry and to characterize each of age brackets which are the main aim of this thesis. Second part of this work is a survey for which data from sport festivals for children and youth were assembled. This data were statistically processed to calculate correlation and to make graphs showing linear regression between observed variables (handgrip and FVC), finally the results were interpreted. Results: Between the handgrip and the FVC was proven a strong correlation (girls , boys ). It is possible to evaluate FVC with younger school age children from the value of handgrip's strenght. The Spiritual Dimension of the Landscape and its history as a means of education for children in the Out of School Care And Recreation (OSCAR)

The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the relation between the spiritual dimension of a landscape and spiritual growth of a child. It draws on psychological research of younger school children, concentrates on communication and group behavior of children. It further draws on discoveries of pedagogy of free time, especially in the environment of a school club. From the spiritual point of view, it tracks the overlap of humans and landscape; it examines their relationship and interaction, concentrates on specifics of value in connection with the transcendent and the projection of these specifics into a landscape that surrounds us. This projection helps us to understand not only the organization and appearance of this landscape in time but also the inner landscape of our soul. This thesis focuses on the landscape in the very heart of Premyslid Central Bohemia. The practical part of this thesis consists of two concepts for creative work in a school club. These two concepts aim to help to develop children spirituality, their enrichment through experience and creativity, help to develop social competences of children and prevent psycho-social problems through various activities reflected in a group of children working together. These activities include group visits of churches, chapels, crosses, commemorative crosses and stones, quells, wells and bells and ensuing search of values in our inner selves. The practical part of this thesis stresses the importance of creativity in children, looks for possible topics of its development within the framework of activities organized by a school club.
Catechetic Activities during the Liturgical Year with Younger School Children in the České Budějovice Diocese

The dissertation deals with the matter of catechetic activities during the liturgical year with younger school children applied to the activities in the vicarages of the České Budějovice diocese. The theoretical framework defines the liturgical year and characterizes its individual parts as well as its periodical and linear time systems. The second part deals with sensorial, motional and intellectual qualities of younger school children from the points of view of the evolutional psychology and religious education. The third part describes catechetics, catechetic activities, catechesis and its goals, definition and substantiality. The practical part contains a questionnaire carried out within the eleven vicarages of the České Budějovice diocese through vicarage catechetic representatives finding out the particular catechetic activities in their vicarage. The evaluation and concluding assessment with the sample of documentation of the activities during the liturgical year in the Town of České Budějovice vicarage concludes the dissertation.
