Satisfaction and work behaviour

This bachelor's thesis examines the area of satisfaction and work behaviour with the aim of conducting both quantitative and qualitative research of satisfaction in relation to employee turnover in the joint-stock company E.ON Energie, specifically in the Electri-city Purchase and Energy Sales TOP&BIG division.

The bachelor work tries to define job satisfaction and related work behaviour. The theoretical part is based on knowledge from professional literature. A part of the work is a questionnaire survey aiming at assessment of general job satisfaction and the most important factors related to work behaviour.
Employee motivation system in Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s.

The success of every company consists from a great part in its human resources and a well-motivated work team can help the company to achieve good results. The thesis concentrates on the analysis of the current motivation level of the employees in Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s., on the survey of its strengths and weaknesses and on suggestion of steps for improvement of the motivation in the company. The theoretic part introduces the problems of motivation, provides a summary of motivation theories and particular motivators, and in its last part describes the motivation program of an organization. The practical part introduces at first the company Agency of Security Fenix CIT, a.s. and its current motivation system, then it analyses the level of motivation of the employees and the data gained from the analysis. According to them, suggestions for improvement of the motivation system and satisfaction of the employees are stated in the conclusion of the work.

An aim of this work was to prove an influence of the work satisfaction to the positive behaviour of employees. A theoretical part describes the concept of the work satisfaction and the behaviour of satisfied workers and not satisfied ones. At the beginning of a practical part there are characterized the aim of the work and the way of collecting some pieces of information. There had been determined five hypotheses, which were confirmed or contradicted during the practical work. In this part there were also described both companies and social advantages, which they provide to their employees in this part. The manufacturing company produces products made of wood and the non-manufacturing company buys and sells stationary products. The research of the work satisfaction was made during the summer 2007. There were 25 workers in the manufacturing company and 24 workers in the second company during the tracked period, the majority of them in both companies took a part in my research. For the research there was used a questionnaire, which contains a lot of questions, aimed at the satisfaction with work conditions.
