Emergency Button for Seniors

This Thesis „Emergency Button for Seniors“ is about suggestion of realization of system emergency signalization. The System consists of programmable digital watch with wireless interface and PC with software processing signals. Status signalization is created by phone message and figuration of dialog on monitor. There is used free software for realization. Operation system on PC is Linux (distribution Ubontu 11.04). For graphic transitional plane PC application is used cross-platform framework QT. For watch firmware is used C compiler MSP430-GCC, MSP debug v0,15 and firmware OpenChronos.
Data collection by wireless technology ZigBee

This bachelor study deals with communication standard IEEE 802.15.4, wireless technology ZigBee and describes its using in collective data collection area and telemetry. Teoretical part is formed by some chapters which detailing standard IEEE 802.15.4 and ZigBee technology and some chapters which detailing communication unit design from look peripheral solving and implementation firmware. Practical part have to do with itself realization communication unit for data gathering from measuring devices. It is based on circumscribed solving. Further smoothing - out proposal frame system in which the would be used technology ZigBee.
Design of a wireless communication interface with a PC for an emulation platform for modeling integrated circuits

In the design center of Onsemi in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, they use an emulation platform based around an FPGA for verification and debugging tasks for certain integrated circuits, and it's equipped with an interface that models an IC's configuration fuses with physical switches. For ICs with large fuse counts, working with this interface is tedious and error-prone, which has lead to this thesis investigating the possibilities for creating a wireless configuration interface that would be controlled by a PC.
A new security model implemented in the metropolitan network

This diploma thesis deals with wireless computer networks in a point of view security. It contains security principles and standards used in these networks. It shows failings of old security methods in contras of new standards. The result of the thesis is a design of the metropolitan network and its realization. In this network appropriate solutions of security are used. The last part of the thesis deals with a design of web applications created in the PHP programming language and SQL database system.

In the next part, the work deals with the overall concept of the development kit and the subsequent selection of suitable components, and finally the design of its own development kit and the design of the printed circuit board in the program Autodesk Eagle.

Impact of Superframe Size on Communiation Quality in Wireless Ad-hoc Networks

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis parameters of the superframe in wireless sensor networks. There is created a simulation model studied the influence of the basic parameters of the transmission network in various configurations. The result is the comparison of the resulting values and proposal of optimal parameters of the superframe for the most efficient operation in the proposed network.
