Diploma thesis deals with the issue of social responsibility in selected faculties of public universities in Brno. The theoretical section explains the issue of social assessment tools of responsibility and CSR. The aim of the result part of the work is to classify socially responsible activities of selected faculties of public universities in Brno through the analysis of the current state. The analysis is performed with help of ISO 26000. The socially responsible activities of selected faculties of public universities evaluated in the conclusion. Subsequently, there are selected and evaluated economic recommendations suitable for implementation at the Faculty of Economics.

The aim of this thesis is to design a educational toy for Technical museum in Brno. Thesis tries capture the entire proces of product design, which results in subsequent formation of a functional prototype. The first part deals with the general analysis of the issue, history overview and clarification of other facts necessary to create high-quality design. In the next section, the work seeks to bring design and initial thoughts on the knowledge gained to create a concept and consequently the model that makes it possible to verify the functionality and feasibility. The final part dedicated to the manufacturing of the prototype, from production planning through to final completion and presentation of the product at the exhibition.

The bachelor thesis' topic is the teaching of critical thinking by high school teachers. Its main aim is to identify and describe the current aspects influencing the teaching of critical thinking by the teachers. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part aims to summarize the most important aspects of the subject to make clear: What critical thinking is; how it has evolved historically and what it relates to; which student backgrounds make it easier to learn it; why it is essential; what though processes prevent students from thinking critically; which tactics and methods can be used to develop critical thinking among high school students. Available professional information sources are used to elaborate the theoretical part of the thesis. The gathered information is analyzed, compared and synthesized. The focus of the practical part is to answer the main research question: How do high school teachers teach critical thinking? The research survey is using the qualitative approach. The main method of data collection is semi-structured in-depth interviews conducted with selected high school teachers. The experiences of their day-to-day practice are described. The findings are used to deduce possible teaching recommendations. The selected high school teachers were chosen as respondents to the research based on a presumed better knowledge of critical thinking, either due to the subjects they teach or their professed focus on critical thinking.

This bachelor thesis is focusing on the topic of digital technology usage by teacher on secondary vocational schools. Main aim was finding out the ways of how teachers are using such technologies. Thesis contains two parts. Theoretical part is based on scientific literature and publications from national and international authors and outlines the topics of digital technologies and digital literacy. It also elaborates on the topic of implementation of digital technologies in schools, and the most frequently used digital technologies. Practical part of the thesis is focused on the use of digital technologies by teachers on the chosen secondary school. Re-sults from qualitative surveys supplement the theoretical information. Polystructured interview with six respondents (teachers of specialized lectures) was used as a tool for qualitative research. Collected data were analysed by the method of open coding. Results were subsequentially described and commented in discus-sion section, where comparison with other scientific research was done.

The topic of this thesis is design and implementation of an application for language exchange and language learning. The purpose of this application is to offer possibilities of searching language partners based on given preferences, arranging personal meetings and providing alternative types of communications with these partners. The thesis begins with survey of the current state in the field of this topic, identifies bottlenecks of current solutions and concisely depicts the importance of knowing foreign language. Ensued part of this thesis analyzes requirements of proposed application, The penultimate part covers implementation of application based on previous analysis and includes user interface and source code samples. Final part is dedicated to summary the results, recommendations for using the application, possible extensions and opportunities for promotion of the application.

In the bachelor thesis, the topic of textbook creation for vocational subject is pro-cessed. The theoretical part of thesis contains an analysis of the current state of textbooks for teaching the subject electrical measurements. Expert opinions on the creation of textbooks and the resultant policies and guidelines for their crea-tion are also presented in this part. First of all, in a practical part of this bachelor thesis, the foundation of the didactic texts that are based on the curriculum doc-uments has been created. Then, the graphical bases, pictures, diagrams and the creation of own didactic texts for teaching the whole topic in electrical measure-ment follows. The part of this whole topic there is also the complex of the ques-tions for the revision of the previous subject matter and practical exercises. Dur-ing the classes, after the opening the didactic complex, the students are offered the feedback questionnaire for evaluation and they do some correction work for creating the additional didactic texts.

The bachelor thesis describes the problems of teacher preparation to lessons. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part characterizes the possibilities, forms and requirements of teacher preparation, curriculum documents, individual teaching methods necessary for preparation and brief evolution of teaching methods. In the theoretical part are used skilled publications, journal articles, documents and web-based resources. In the practical part are created three teacher preparations on "Drinking water, service water and wastewater", "Toxicology, Toxic mania", "Environmental disasters". In the skilled sources was found that pupils are involved in the process of learning less than they could be. For natural science teaching, is recommended usage of activation methods.

My bachelor thesis deals with problematics of introduction of teaching the sub-ject, which is called Civil protection and solution of emergency situations at second-ary school. The aim of the thesis is to suggest teaching the new complex subject Civil protection and to solve extraordinary situations at secondary schools. The theoretical part describes historical development of defence education at secondary schools and I do analysis of current situation with teaching the topic of Human protection during extraordinary events. I carried out some research at five secondary schools. I used a method of a controlled semi-structured interview. The thesis contains a lot of processed results. The practical part contains a method of teaching solutions in the new comprehen-sively solution Civil protection and solving extraordinary situations at secondary schools. I currently justify my proposal for this solution.
