Analysis of structure of watertower
Roudný, Tomáš ; Bažant,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The work deals with design of load-bearing structure of watertower. The solution include design and assessment of all main parts of watertower according to ČSN EN 1992 in the ultimate limit state and the serviceability limit state (crack limitation).
Precast concrete frame construction
Hubačková, Pavlína ; Buřič, Pavel (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
Diploma thesis focuses on the design of selected parts of precast concrete frame construction. Elements for design are prestressed girder, purlin, column, footing pocket and drilled pile. The calculation of internal forces was performed in a computational program SCIA Engineer 18. Check of the pile was performed in program GEO 5. Part of the thesis is a technical report and formworks drawing and reinforcement drawing. The construction is designed and assessed according to ČSN EN 1992 - 1 - 1.
Pedestrian bridge across the river Nitra
Tomečka, Petr ; Kaláb,, Pavel (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject matter of this master thesis is to design pedestrian bridge across the river Nitra in a city Nitra. Out of three possible solutions arch bridge was considered to be the most optimal system for given situation and it was analysed in detail. The design and assessment of load-bearing structure was evaluated acording to valid standarts. The main goal was to comply with ultimate and serviceability limit state. Global calculation model was created in ANSYS Mechanical APDL 21 R2. Model of the slab of the deck in the cross direction was performer using SCIA Engineer 19.1. Load capacity of some cross sections was verified manually and some using computer software IDEA Statica 21.0. This thesis is extended with drawings of sequence of construction, detailed drawings of the bridge and visualizations.
Statical design of residential house
Svobodová, Barbora ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with static analysis of selected reinforced concrete elements of an apartment building. Specifically solved are the reinforced concrete slab of above-ground floor, point-supported slab of underground garage, the most exposed column, staircase, load-bearing wall of shear core, external load-bearing wall and building foundation on piles. Load effects were calculated using the Axis VM 12 software. Design of foundation was solved in the Geo 5 software. The thesis includes shape drawing documentation of selected elements.
Verification of interaction between the foundation plate and the pile
Kozáková, Marcela ; Hrubešová,, Eva (referee) ; Turček,, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
The doctoral thesis deal with the interaction between the foundation plate and deep foundation in the form of bored piles in the case of skeleton construction. The issue of tension redistribution from the column between the plate and the pile is investigated on specific object – „Shopping and entertainment center Fórum Nová Karolina”. On this object were selected columns monitored and load tests of the piles was executed. Values of the axial loading of the piles and the actual deformation of the construction have been derived from measurements and tests. They were compared with the results of structural behavior by numerical modeling.
Multifunctional building
Tměj, Václav ; Utíkal, Aleš (referee) ; Utíkalová, Ivana (advisor)
The subject of the thesis is a project documentation od multifunctional object to build. The building has four floors above ground and one sub-terrain. In the underground, there is parking and technical rooms. In the firt floor there are boutiques and a coffe shop. The second and third floor are office spaces and in the last floor the are apartments. The edifice has skeletal construction systém with monolithic ceiling structures and flat green roof. The object is based on piles created by CFA method. Blueprints were created in the Archicad program.
Design of selected elements of reinforced concrete structure
Klust, Vojtěch ; Čairović, Dorde (referee) ; Kostiha, Vojtěch (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the desing of reinforced two way concrete foundation slab in three variants. In the first variant is slab of constant thickness. In the second variant is haunched slab. In the third variant is slab with piles. The thesis includes a structural design as well as drawings. All calculations were performed in accordance with applicable standards. For the design was used program SCIA Engineer 19.1.
Prefabricated reinforced concrete structures industrial hall with administration
Sitta, Martin ; Šulák, Pavel (referee) ; Zlámal, Martin (advisor)
As the main topic this thesis describes the design and evaluation of selected reinforced concrete members of the prefabricated reinforced concrete industrial building with administration at ultimate limit state in accordance with applicable standards. Movable overhead crane with carrying capacity of 50 tons is the main distinction of the industrial hall. Lateral frame whit main structural parts which are roof prestressed girder, load-bearing column supporting the overhead crane and drilled pile transferring loads from the upper construction to the load bearing subsoil, is designed in particular. Furthermore, design of the Gerber beam which forms the slab construction in the administrational part of the building is elaborated. Structural design and evaluation of other structures of the building is not part of this thesis.
Sekuring of Foundation Pit in Brno
Ondráček, Jaroslav ; Boštík,, Jiří (referee) ; Svoboda, Petr (advisor)
It is project of securing foundation pit and foundation for SONO building realized in Brno in Veveří street. It is required to desing economical and safety construction.A calculation was performed by program FINE GEO 5 - Student version.
Prediction of load-displacement behaviour of large diameter piles using the finite element method
Dvořák, Tomáš ; Miča, Lumír (referee) ; Chalmovský, Juraj (advisor)
The master thesis deals with the inverse analysis of instrumented load tests of bored piles in cohesionless and cohesive soils. Evaluations of the detailed monitoring are compared with the results of inverse analyses. Inverse analyses are preformed using the finite element method with an advanced material model considering the higher stiffness within very small strains in PLAXIS and alternatively using the load-transfer method in PMpLTO. The difference of pile-soil interaction in different soil types is discussed and the difference in the process of shaft friction mobilization is also evaluated. In cohesionless soils values of shaft friction are many times higher due to the increment of radial stress which is caused by effect of constraint dilatancy in shear zone at pile-soil interface.
