Determination of micro and macro elements in bottled water by ICP-OES technique
Herman, Vít ; Vespalcová, Milena (referee) ; Diviš, Pavel (advisor)
This Master’s thesis deals with the determination of selected micro and macro elements in bottled water purchased in retail chains Czech Republic. There are described macro elements and micro elements that occur in the waters, bottled waters legislation and the most frequent used instrumental methods for elemental analysis. In this work for the analysis of bottled water were used methods optical emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-OES) and ion chromatography (IC). Elemental composition of bottled water after analysis corresponded to the composition indicated on the labels, there were recorded only minor deviations from the reported concentrations. All bottled water meets the conditions of the legislation of the Czech Republic. The measured data were statistically processed in the XL Stat program and by multivariate data analysis was examined whether it is possible to individual bottled water from each other based on the analyzes differentiate, which can help in verifying the authenticity of bottled water and in the detection of adulteration of bottled water for profit.
Design of Pardubice Connection from HSR Line
Kuchár, Martin ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Dušek, Erik (advisor)
The aim of the work was to design the railway connection of the city of Pardubice to the VRT network Prague - Hradec Králové - Wroclaw. The beginning of the connection is to be located near the village of Olešnice. The end of the connection is to be located near the village of Opočínek on a conventional line in front of the railway stop Pardubice - Opočínek. The new VRT route is to be designed for a maximum speed of 350 km / h according to the DÚR Design Manual. The length of the route should be about 20 km.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the design of a new High-speed line in the section Louny – Most. The track is designed for passenger transportation at maximum speed of 250 kph. The alignment of the line were designed, including the drawing of roadbed. Bridges, overpasses, culverts and retaining walls were designed.
Foundations in Volume Unstable Soils
Legut, Dana ; Weiglová, Kamila (referee) ; Hauser,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Zdražil, Karel (referee) ; Vašina,, Josef (referee) ; Paseka, Antonín (advisor)
This dissertation is concerned with the foundations in volume unstable soils and objects disorders which are related to this. The thesis was focused on the study of clay and loess soils which are abundant in the geological profile of the Czech Republic. First, the formation of the two groups of soils is introduced, then their properties are examined and finally the influence of vegetation on the former type and the influence of collapsibility in the latter type are investigated. The conclusion is, in fact, a recommendation on the design of structures so that the system of clay / structure is not damaged and that structures are not subject to renovations. Several instance of problems with structures are discussed which were subject to structural repairs employing both a civil and geotechnical engineers.
Social, economic, and environmental impact of high-speed rails in the Czech Republic: Expected impacts of high-speed rails on the Ústí nad Labem region
TOMS, Tomáš
The commissioning of the first high-speed lines in the second half of the 20th century not only breathed new life into the receding railway, but this mode of transport has become the backbone of transport in many developed countries around the world. Among its greatest advantages are both the minimal environmental impact and the associated socio-economic benefits. This thesis introduces the issue of high-speed lines in the North Bohemian region of Ústí nad Labem and examines the expected impacts of the new infrastructure from the perspective of residents and passengers, as well as from the perspective of the experts in charge of planning and building high-speed lines in the country.

Interpretation and use of monitoring data from water supply wells
Kutnarová, Karolína ; Pastuszek, František (advisor) ; Hrkal, Zbyněk (referee)
The life of the hydrogeological well is not important only in petroleum geology but also in the water industry. Nowadays, when the demand of water rises, it is necessary to ensure the smooth running of the wells and care as much as possible about their condition. The aim of this thesis is try to apply the methods of production analysis commonly used in oil production in the oil industry for water supply wells. In the thesis I will focus on monitoring the productivity of the well with regard to increasing the hydraulic losses caused by clogging. iv
Drilling technique and technology related to engineering geology
Šula, Igor ; Novotný, Jan (advisor) ; Rout, Jiří (referee)
The publication serves for information about drilling in geology, it describes histrorical context of drilling in the distant past and its purpose but also the reader is introduced with the complex logic of drilling and knowledge of drilling techniques. Simultaneously this publication describes borehole together with all works which must be done before bigger projects of drilling begins. Because the publication isn't only about drilling technique and technology so basic informations about ground investigation methods are in this publication too. Key words: borehole, drill rig, drill bit, core, ground investigation
Design of the Southern Connection from the High-Speed Line to Svetla nad Sazavou Station
Dvořák, Matěj ; Janoušek, Jan (referee) ; Říha, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis contains the design of the alternative northern connection of high-speed track Prague – Brno – Breclav to station Svetla nad Sazavou, including optimization of the main track between kilometres 95.3 and 102.3. This connection will be used as the temporary end of the high-speed track. Design speeds of the connection are 160 kph and 200 kph, switches are in kilometres 95.9 and 98.5.
