Estimation of Flow Uncertainty of Measurement in Hydrometric Profile
Jansa, Jakub ; Menšík, Pavel (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on the estimation of measurement of uncertainty in the selected hydrometric profile. Aim of this work will be theories about the problem, calculation of uncertainty of flows in water channels, statistical evaluation of the calculated values and the interpretation of the results in understandable form.
Uncertainty of Measurement Estimation of Mean Monthly Flows Values of the Selected Hydrometric Station at the Svitava River Catchment Area
Paseka, Stanislav ; Janál,, Petr (referee) ; Marton, Daniel (advisor)
Currently, a sizes of the time series elements of average monthly flows uncertainty are not taken into account in more detail and it does not know the estimation of their sizes. The above mentioned fact could ultimately affected the design and operation of large open water reservoirs. This bachelor's thesis deals with the uncertainty of measurement estimation of the mean monthly flows which have derived in the measuring profile Prostřední Poříčí in the Křetínka river in the Svitava river basin. Evaluation is done using a measured values of water level stages and a stage-discharge relation curve. The basis for design of uncertainty affected stage-discharge curves and water lavel stages the Monte Carl method is used. The outcome values of random flows are further evaluated using the statistical methods in the form of the statistical characteristics and presented as uncertainties of mean monthly flows.
Assessment of rating curves on selected hydrological profiles of the KFGG
Kabelka, Tomáš ; Šobr, Miroslav (advisor) ; Jeníček, Michal (referee)
This thesis deals with the creation of rating curves and evaluating these curves on profiles KFGG. There are described various methods of extrapolating discharge beyond instrumentally measured data. On selected profiles is performed extrapolation using 1D hydrological model MIKE 11. Data used in this work are obtained by field survey made by workers KFGG. Key words: rating curve, extrapolation, hydrological modeling, ADCP, MIKE 11
Possibilities of derivation of discharges at high stages at selected profiles of KFGG
Kabelka, Tomáš ; Šobr, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kliment, Zdeněk (referee)
This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the regressive surveys on the water flow at high stages. It is necessary to know the surface profile and the velocity of water to calculate the flow rate. We will create transverse flow profile from the known maximum water level during the flood, which is determined by traces in the terrain. We can use to derive the discharge valid rating curve or the method of calculating velocity with certain values of roughness coefficients, which are influenced by natural flow conditions and its surroundings. Findings described in the literature are then applied to stages recorded in the profile Křemelná in Sumava Mountains.
Derivation of rating curve for discharge estimation in the centre of Prague
Fojtová, Tereza ; Pavlásek, Jiří (advisor) ; Bašta, Petr (referee)
This thesis deals with the processing of data of water levels and flow measurements in measuring profile Vltava at Charles Bridge in Prague. The work is divided into theoretical part, ie. literature search and the practical part. Review of literature deals with the characteristics of the Vltava River, the basic hydrological concepts. For the most part it focuses on the importance hydrometry or the science of water, which thoroughly explains how the water levels and flow rates are measured and how measurement methods can be used. The practical part describes the characteristics of the territory and processing measured values, which were measured at three different points in time. They referred to the resulting data are shown in the tables and plotted in the graphs. Finally, the work was compiled empirical density curve, which graphically illustrates the relationship between the water level and flow. To curve the optimum, we have chosen various processing procedures.
