Suspension footbridge across the Elbe River
Gregor, Petr ; Kocourek, Petr (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The objective of this master´s thesis is a design of suspension footbridge across the Elbe river. The footbridge is suspended construction by three spans. The brick deck is supported on the outer edges and it is kept in a parabolic arc. The suspension cables are kept at two inclined levels. The model is implemented in the program ANSYS. The solution is non-linear. The designe is according to the europien standart.
Pedestrian bridge over the Dyje river in Břeclav
Tomášková, Eliška ; Kulhavý, Tomáš (referee) ; Koláček, Jan (advisor)
The subject of this master's thesis is the design and analysis of a concrete suspension footbridge, primarily focusing on the supporting structure. The strucutre was modeled in Midas Civil for longitudinal analysis, and additional model using SCIA Engineer was created to analyze the structure in a transverse direction. Assessment was done in line with valid standards.
Static analysis of suspension bridge variants
Zavřelová, Michaela ; Martinásek, Josef (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the static analysis of individual models of suspension footbridges. A manual calculation of the cable was processed. The actual position of the cable was determined by calculation. The manual calculation was compared with the RFEM calculation program. Furthermore, the models were loaded with manually calculated loads. The bachelor's thesis deals with the influence of pylon deflection on the global deformations of cable and bridge deck during individual load cases and combinations. For one of the models, the optimization of construction was processed.
Suspension footbridge over the river Bečva
Sobková, Sára ; Šopík, Leonard (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of a suspended footbridge for pedestrians over the Bečva River. Three variants of the crossing were created. The va-riant with a suspension structure was selected for detailed design. The chosen pede-strian footbridge is composed of two suspension cables supported by an inclined py-lon, anchored by a set of six anchoring cables. The design of the structure relied on finding the ideal geometry of the suspension cables. The computational model was created in the ANSYS Mechanical APDL 2023 R2 software. For the analysis of the deck in the transverse direction, model was created in the SCIA Engineer 21.1 software. The construction was assessed for ultimate limit state of serviceability and load-bearing capacity according to applicable standards, and a dynamic analysis was performed. The work includes clear and detailed drawings and visualizations.
Stress ribbon bridge across the deep valley
Tomisová, Gabriela ; Brtáň, Stanislav (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is a design of stress ribbon bridge across the deep valley. The construction of the footbridge contains stress ribbon bridge with external cables and final prestressing tendons. The bridge deck is in a parabolic arc and the suspension cables are in two bend down parabolic arcs. The construction is reproduced for evaluation of longitudinal direction in the Ansys 14.0 programme and for transversal direction in the Scia Engineer 15.1 programme. The model was solved in several phases, nonlinerally. The pier was reproduced in the Scia Engineer 15.1 programme for local effect of action. The construction was evaluated for dynamic action. The construction is assessed according to the actual EN standards.
Static analysis of cable
Pőthe, Péter ; Kytýr, Jiří (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the static analysis of suspension cables of the suspension footbridge. The processing was done as a manual calculation as using the program system RFEM for a static finite element method from company Dlubal. The task was to determine the geometric shape of cables and the real position of suspenders, which we get after the construction of the bridge. The results were then compared with each other.
Suspension footbridge
Černý, Jan ; Kulhavý,, Tomáš (referee) ; Nečas, Radim (advisor)
The objective of this master's thesis is a design of suspension footbridge. The footbridge is suspended construction of stress ribbon by one span. The brick deck is supported on the edges and it is kept in a parabolic arc. The suspension cables are kept at two inclined levels. The model lengthways is implemented in the program ANSYS, by non-linear solution. The model crosswise is implemented in the program SCIA ENGINEER 2011. The design is according to relevant current standart.
