Development of Construction of Residential Properties in Brno - Žabovřesky

The main task in this thesis is to clarify the development of residential properties in the locality of Brno – žabovřesky. Diploma thesis is focusing on history of this locality until present. In the thesis is described in detail survey of the significant residential buidings, historically protected villas, construction of residential complex, thus the whole constructions and their development, transformations or expansion. The work is divided into few construction periods, while the biggest and the highest quality development was during the First Republic. Components of thesis are created maps of area, which describe urban pattern of locality and emplacement some residential objects. These maps are linked by analysis of development opportunities in construction, structural built-up urban area, however it must be said, that locality, from the aspect of other possible constructions is already largely in finish.
Development of the Construction of Residential Properties at the Brno - Stránice Locality

This thesis describes the construction development of residential real estate in the area of Brno - Stranice. It considers not only the description of the location and its history but also it describes the development of construction of the residential real estate in individual periods of time when the main attention is given to the period of the First Republic, in which the greatest construction development took place. Furthermore, this work describes the significant architectonic building works as well as the current construction and development of this location in the future. The main purpose of this thesis is to summarize the progress of the residential real estate construction in the location of Brno – Stranice since the beginning of the construction in the nineties of 19th century till present, when the construction is almost completed.
Improvement of heat insulation parameters of classic residential buildings and their impact on quality of inner environment

Master’s Thesis deals with utilization of energy simulation software in area of classic brick buildings and measures to decrease heat consumption. Introduction deals with historic development of heat loss demands in Czech Republic and ways how to decrease heat loss through different types of building elements. Next chapter is focused on indoor microclimate and it’s affecting factors. Last but not least are mentioned environmental and financial aspects of these adjustments. Final part shows examined buildings, simulation configurations and output evaluations.
Heating of the functionalist Villa

This master´s thesis focuses on a design of a heating system in the functionalist villa Stiassni. The building is located in Brno and was used as a government villa. The objec-tive of this work is to select the appropriate type of heating system out of three differ-ent heat sources – an automatic pellet boiler, a gas boiler and an oil boiler. The theo-retical part is focused on the history of the villa Stiassnia, functionalism itself and other functionalist monuments. In the project part, the design of a heating system using the chosen type of heat source, which is a pellet boiler, is described.
Villa Petra at Humpolec

This thesis deals with the design documentation of villas Petra in Humpolec, designed for a family of six. The house is situated in the region Vysočina in the village Humpolec, cadastral district Humpolec. The building is designed as a three-story brick building, where the vertical and horizontal constructions are designed from the structural system POROTHERM. The building is covered with three flat roof decks at different height levels, two of whom are flat roofs walkway and used as a terrace. Part of the building is also covered parking places for two cars type 1a.
The printing office and the villa of Alois Landfras in Jindřichův Hradec

The bachelor thesis The printing office and the villa of Alois Landfras in Jindřichův Hradec deals with built of printing office and villa with garden and it primarily examines its in artistic and historical terms. The first part of thesis deals with history of printing craft in Jindřichův Hradec, with builder Alois Landfras and with architect Josef Schaffer. In the next part of thesis the author deals with built of printing office, with question of dating its rebuilding, with reconstructions of object and it was constructed architectural description of house facade. The following chapters are focused on Landfras´s villa with garden. The interesting point is doubt of dating beginnig of villa´s building based on literature and charter of the villa. Author´s other interest was providing of garden complete description and describe its original form based on historical photos. Afterwards author points out earlier purpose of object because during Alois Landfras´s life villa with garden had primarily cultural meaning. Next chapter examines the relation between Alois Landfras as a builder and Josef Schaffer as an architect. In last part author deals with garden analysis in style element term and she tries to find inspiration or archetype of the architectural work.
Roman motifs in the self-presentation of the renaissance nobleman. Symbolic decorations in the Golden Hall of the villa Kratochvíle

The aim of this bachelor thesis is recognition of the various ideas of the symbolic decorations of the Kratochvíle château. The analysis of the figural stucco scenes in the Golden Hall is compared to the inner world of the renaissance nobleman. The interpretation of the symbolic emblems based on the Livy's History of Rome helps with the understandings of the self-presentation of Wilhelm von Rosenberg.
Draft layout of large three-floor single-family house in the village Příkosice, Rokycany district

The aim of this thesis was to draw up a draft layout of large three-floor single-family house in the village Příkosice. In this work, I proposed two alternative solutions of which I worked up one to the desired stage. Architectural and functional solution to the variant of the house correspond to modern requirements for living. This building is located at a specific site in the built-up area of Příkosice. In the work, basic legislative conditions for the design documentation and construction of the building are presented. There is a brief description of the construction materials and the reasons for its use. Drawing part was processed using Microstation.
Loos’s Raumplan as an English house turned upside down

Analyses the interiors of Vienna architect Adolf Loos and his work with space. Loos’s cascade-structured space resembles the interiors of English modernist houses. However, Loos does not measure the varied vertical clearance of his rooms from the floor – in the English way – but from the basic level of the ceiling.
