Videoconferencing application integrated in web browser

Bachelor thesis is focused on integrating videoconferencing application in the web browser. Implementation is realized using HTML5 and WebRTC tool, designed by web browsers makers such as Google and Firefox. To work with WebRTC is used API (Application Programming Interface) sipML5, which is implemented using JavaScript. This API contains package of functions and classes used to create videoconference application using simple commands. For signaling is used SIP protocol. Client application provides communication point-to-point, chat and multipoint communication. Multipoint communication was tested on the server application enabling the creation and management of videoconferencing rooms. For this was used software MCU Media Server and MediaMixer Server developed by Medooze company.
Videoconferencing Application

Videoconferencing is a modern way of communication, in which the participants carry picture and sound and during transmission can also exchange various data. The aim of this work is to create an application for the connection of up to eight participants to videoconferencing and create a web interface to facilitate configuration of this application. Videoconferences types and the feasibility are described in the first part of this work. Furthermore, the SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) protocol used to production of multimedia sessions is described. RADVISION IVP system was selected to the implementation of videoconferencing application. IVP is a complex system for the operation of videoconferencing, which allows implementing and operating various types of services. Basic components of system are described in next section of this work. Second part of this work describes interface for applications creating that IVP offers to programmers. The main part of this work is the design and implementation of video conferencing application that is realized as an IVP service. There is described the implementation and testing. A web interface to facilitate the configuration of video conferencing applications has been designed and implemented. This interface also allows the service provider to manage user accounts. The web interface was implemented in Java EE.
Efficiency of Wireless Networks from Services View

Subject of this thesis was the issue of effectiveness of wireless networks from the perspective of services. Become acquainted with WiFi network standard IEEE 802.11 with protocols and principles of WiFi networks and services. It should be focused on the quality of service QoS. In teoretical part of this thesis are described problems considering wireless networks, layer model and types of nets used in WiFi. Standard IEEE 802.11 is analysed in details including supplements and used packets. Special attention is paid to the quality of service QoS. Next are discussed the principles and application services as VoIP, videoconferencing, video streaming and others in WiFi network. On the basis of obtained knowledge is designed extensive WiFi network with assured supply of services. For modelling and simulation of wireless network is used software development environment Opnet Modeler. Model of wireless network is used to optimize and analyse this wireless communication network. In thesis are also simulated properties of data which are sensitive to delay. In last part of thesis is created a laboratory work, which contains a submission of task, detailed theory, wiring diagram, instructions for elaboration, guidelines for simulation and example of elaboration of task. Work is about comparison of network with used 802.11b and 802.11e standard, and support of quality of service QoS.

The role of video app Zoom and its influence on users during the COVID-19

This thesis focuses on early beginnings of a video conferencing platform Zoom, its development and enormous rise during the global pandemic of COVID-19 disease, and on its influence on users. It focuses particularly on millennials who are already familiar with this kind of technology. The aim of this work is primarily to determine the effects of Zoom, as a video conferencing platform, on user's activities because they were used to perform them in a physical contact with other people. However, due to restrictions resulting from epidemiological measures, participants were forced to move their activities to the online environment. The thesis focuses on answering these research questions: How do people's behaviour, perception of the situation and their self-presentation change when using Zoom in comparison to a face-to-face meeting? How have the activities of users changed while using Zoom, due to COVID-19, namely March to December 2020? How and for what reasons do users use Zoom? How do users perceive Zoom's affordances? In order to answer these questions, qualitative research was conducted using semi-structured in-depth interviews. Telephysiotherapy of Patients after Brain Injury

Title of bachelor thesis: Telephysiotherapy of patients after brain injury Abstract: The world is developing new medical direction - Telemedicine, which includes Telerephysiotherapy (TF). In the Czech Republic is the TF new direction in physiotherapeutical care. This thesis is one of the first, which deals with the condition after brain damage and physical therapy at home using videoconference call as one of the techniques telerehabilitation. The work consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part describes the information about brain damage, methods of treatment and physiotherapy. It also includes information about telemedicine, especially about telerephysiotheraphy its techniques and possibilities of use. The practical part deals with the question whether is the telephysioteraphy useful in patients after brain damage and consists of three case reports of patients who underwent physiotherapy through videoconferencing at home. Knowledge based on the international studies and practical experience is discussed in the end of this thesis, where is also answered the basic question of the thesis.
